Looks like New Orelans will cut Reggie Bush when FA does start now that they picked Ingram. Miami has to be all over him. In a timeshare at RB. Line him up at WR.  He is the BIG PLAY threat we need on offense. Not to mention he upgrades our special teams 100x!!

This is a guy who would make our offense a million times better overnight. He isnt' an everydown RB, but just as a big play threat we can use in many ways, MUST HAVE for our team. he is the type of guy we need

always a chance, but they just drafted Ingram, they have about 3 or 4 other quality RB's on their roster who are cheaper than Bush. Odds are they will cut Bush so they save a bunch of money since he makes the most. Bush even said last night after the Ingram pick he enjoyed his time in New Orleans talking in past tense. He even knows its over for him there.

It's not official yet, but looks like he will be on the open market

Agreeing with MikeO makes me feel all funny...

Still, that was my first thought when I read about the "It's been fun, New Orleans" tweet. It's going to come down to price, though. Bush has been so insanely up-and-down and you have to tailor a good chunk of your O just for his strengths... but he's got that explosive quality we've been lacking for too long.

It's very rare for me to agree with Mikey, but Miami should absolutely make a bid for Reggie Bush.  He would dramaticly help the return game, lord knows we need it..and Miami will go with the one, two punch theory of running the ball, why can't he be (at 26 years old) be the change of pace back/3rd down back?

Yeah, it is strange to agree with Mike...Not once but twice in one day. I agree with him about Bush, and  also Pouncey too.

Also, THE BIG O on WTFL is reporting with Cincy drafting AJ Green and with Chad JOhnson and Lewis not getting along,  Cincy will CUT Chad and Miami is prepared to offer him a 2 year deal. Pairing Marshall and Chad with Bess to form our WR corp.

I would rather have Bush than Chad, but in all honesty we need both!

I'm more interested in what Cincy is going to do with their QB situation. The rumors are that ownership has finally conceded that they'll lose Palmer and might as well get something for him. Reports are saying a 5th + a conditional pick (3rd, is what I read).

That's NOTHING. I'd give that up for Palmer in a heartbeat.

^^^ wow, no way they let palmer go for a 5th.

but the dolphins need to do everything they can to get that guy as their new qb.

Well, that's where the conditional comes in. Usually, that pick would be conditional on Palmer playing in a certain number of games during the season or performing at a certain level (rating, yards thrown, whatever). If those criteria, which are often low, were met, the Bengals would get a 3rd round pick (going with the rumor).

What purpose would Ochocinco serve on the Dolphins?  At this point, he's Marshall without the YAC.

I'd rather get Bush and have him catch passes out of the backfield.  That at least brings something new to the table.

OchoCinco is better than every WR on Miami's roster minus Marshall. And Marshall might not even be back for all we know. He's just another weapon. Not the same weapon he was 6 years ago, but still a viable weapon

If Cincinnati offered Miami Ochocinco for Bess straight up, would you take that trade?  I wouldn't.

I only want Ochocinco if he can't wear #85.

NO. That's different. I wouldn't trade for an older WR. But as a FA to add to the mix, I would take him
