I would think it was a joke if it were April 1 instead of May 1.  Do you guys think he is serious or is he blowing smoke?  Huh

Beck has four starts.  All four was several years ago when he was a rookie and his first start was with an 0-9 team that had given up on the season.  I would hardly consider that a fair assessment of his abilities.  It is quite possible he has shown in practice (which we would not have seen) enough for a coach to concluded he can play as an NFL starter.

You could have put Brees, Brady or Manning on the Dolphins week 10 of that year and the results would not have been much different.  The players and coaches had given up at that point.

So many people called him a deer in the headlights, I started to believe it, even though I thought he didn't get a fair shake.  With our luck, he will turn into a beast.

So many people called him a deer in the headlights,

He was a rookie on a team that was an utter disaster.  Add four years of coaching and practice and he MIGHT be a different player.

Impossible to know what he is really developed into unless you were at the redskin's team practices last year.

I'm not arguing with you, I will be interested to see how this plays out.

Great...and we play the Redskins. Our trash QBs have a habit of coming back with their new team and having a career day against us.

Or...he MIGHT be the same Bambi on Route 66 that he was while in Miami.

Cameron Wake kinda looks like a truck...

definately worth watching.  However I'm not convinced that the Redskins were that much better than we were when we had him.

I'm happy for him. I always liked him. There's no question he was overmatched as a rookie, let's see what he has now.

He sucks! The guy can't play. Anyone who thinks he will have any success with Washington is fooling themselves or doesn't know NFL football

He couldn't make it in Miami or Baltimore, but now Washington...lol.

But he has had two years of developing under Cam Cameron in Baltimore if I'm not mistaken.  Also, isn't he in his 30's right now?  If I recall correctly, he was 26 when he was drafted.

Correct on the Cam Cameron thing and he is either approaching 30 or just turned 30.  But he also hasn't started very many games.

Also remember who he's playing for.  Mike Shanahan might not be able to do much but if nothing else, he can develop a quarterback pretty quickly.
