Game 1 goes to Vancouver... Great goalie play throughout, and you've gotta love getting the winning goal with 18 seconds left.

I don't have a favorite team in this matchup, but as a new hockey fan, I absolutely love watching great goalies. This series ought to have plenty of that.

The B's played the absolute best game they could, and barely lost.  They just don't have the horses to keep up with the canucks, speed and skill trump power and defense in today's modern era.

When they write the history of Boston sports, Tim Thomas last night had as big a choke job as Bill Buckner did in 1986

That was awful

Vancouver through the first two games just looks so much faster.

Canucks are showing the nhl why they are the best team. Maybe the Capitals should take note on how it's done.

The Canucks played like the Panthers last night.  Very sloppy.  Turnovers in the neutral zone, no power play presence.  Weak all around.  They will lose this series if they don't fix that.

It was sad to see Luongo not even trying towards the end.

Last night Boston actually looked like the faster team.  I also enjoyed the mass fighting and attempts to pick the Vancouver guy's noses (I know that's not what it was about but still it looked hysterical) I was mildly confused as to why Vancouver was allowed a double minor in a game as I know what constitutes a major or misconduct vs a minor but what the hell is a double minor?

I'm thinking that all the people kicking dirt on Boston's grave after games 1 & 2 are re-thinking that stance a little bit?

Not getting my hopes up... remember last year  Undecided

but the B's are playing good hockey right now!!

This series is ugly. Some great goalie play, but the physicality and cheap shots is pretty disturbing for a Stanley Cup Finals.

Agreed. All seemed to start with that hit and concussion. I didn't that particular hit was a cheap shot, he just didn't see it coming, but ever since then it's been some really dirty tactics.
