The games in Vancouver have been much more hard-hitting and defensive.  I can't figure out why Luongo can't seem to play on the road.  He looks unbeatable at home, but take him out of the arena and he's suddenly swiss cheese.

I don't get it.

Looking forward to rooting against the Bruins Wednesday night.
It's not just Luongo. The entire Vancouver team looks completely lost when they play in Boston. Can't do anything on power plays. Give up the puck constantly around the goal. Let guys hang out around the net to tip pucks past Luongo. Luongo has looked bad, but no on Vancouver has looked good in Boston in my humble opinion.

It's a conspiracy, NHL wanted the series to go to game 7 so they told vancouver to take a dive in all three games in boston.

Looking forward to rooting against the Bruins Wednesday night.

Boston is Title Town.

7 Championships in 10 years.  In fact, Patriots have the longest drought of a title of the four.  It has been a good decade.

One complaint Vancouver had when playing in Boston was the temperature of the ice was not working with them. In the earlier games in Vancouver, the ice conditions and temperature were colder than that of Bostons. Now, we do have to realize that the Boston area went through storms followed by hotter days than they planned for but for the most part the hotter the ice surface, the more tendancy for the puck to bounce and flip around.

Oddly while watching game 7 (via the NBC feed), Piere Meguire mentioned the temperature of the building was getting hotter than normal. He didn't mention it for any of the other Vancouver home games for the series and the West Conference playoff rounds. This may seem like a pointless advantage for Boston but remember that Vancouver is used to playing on a colder ice surface than the one in Boston and Boston was not used to playing on the colder surface in Vancouver. Its minor but it does mess with some players and on a stage that big, all the little details are bound to catch up.

I remember Piere Meguire (who was covering VS that game) mention during the 8-1 Game 3 that the ice was starting to act like it was getting warmer and showed one or two video highlights where Vancouver had a powerplay on the blue line, one defenseman passed to the other, had their stick down but the puck hopped over it. Warm conditions (or warm pucks) tend to do that from what I have experienced. Don't remember if they mentioned it in game 4 but they were going through some nasty weather in that area when games 1 and 2 were being played in Vancouver. I can affect the ice conditions. I haven't experienced a condition where the ice was too cold (many people don't believe in that) but I don't notice it bounce around as much when it is cold. It is harder to handle and feels heavier (we tried "icing" a roller puck and saw these conditions) but didn't notice the bounce as much as warmer conditions.

I don't have the games stored on my DVR anymore (had to make room for Game 6 and 7) but I think I remember Piere specifically mention it in the 3rd period of game 3.

Sorry for the late response, was out of it this weekend and had a lot of home stuff to take care of.
