I picked the US women in Streak for the Ca$h to win by 2.  Go me!

I seem to find that the interest in women's world cup is a mere fraction of that of men's world cup.

And this is shocking break from the trend of the WNBA being more popular than the NBA, the women's NCAA basketball tournament being more popular than the mens and LPGA being more popular than the PGA.   Grin

^^Have you seen some of the German women? You really don't want to watch a skins game.

Now watching Canada wasn't too bad the other night, some pretty nice looking athletes on that team. Smiley

If it's the same pictures I saw, the shorts were painted on as well I believe, but everyone was wearing a thong or something along those lines. I don't believe it had anything to do with the World Cup and it was being played on sand, but that's beside the point really.

I wasn't. None of those ladies are on the team.  This is one of their stars.  You be the judge.

That's actually a pretty good picture of her. Smiley

If you missed the women's quaterfinal match against Brazil this passed Sunday, I suggest you try to catch a replay. I'm sure it will be replayed several times before Wednesday's semi-final match against France. As you can guess the US won, but it was incredible. I'm sure someone is already putting the book or movie deal in place.

I won't give away too much here, just go watch it, I don't think you will be disappointed, just make sure you have a good 2 hours to watch. If after you watch, you have questions, I'll be glad to discuss anything that went on in the game, there's quite a few rules that had major impacts on the game and the final outcome.

I believe the US should make 2 changes to the lineup for the game against France. Put Cheney back up top with Wambach, they create way more than Abby and ARod have and start Rapinoe in Cheney's spot at outside mid. I think that makes both positions better as Cheney appears to be uncomfortable in her current role and ARod just isn't producing any scoring chances.

Arod has created many scoring chances in the Cup. Her biggest issue is she has just failed to capitalize on them. With that said I don't neccesarily disagree with you about putting Cheney up top. I'm just happy Wambach is out of her slump.

The last game was storybook unbelievable. I really don't know how you come out and play well after a game like that. I really hope we don't come out flat!!  Thank God we have so many mature players as they are going to have to forget that last game very quickly.
