That is not completely true.

There were four QBs with worse TD/Int ratios than Henne that threw enough passes to get a rating for the seaons....

Matt Hasselbeck
Derek Anderson
Brett Favre
Jimmy Clausen
What!! There were QB's that were WORSE than Henne. IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Agreed......Every fucking thread someone has to chime in about how much Henne sucks.....we get it you don't fucking like him......he is as of now our QB as a real fan of the Dolphins I am going to support him and hope for the best. He is not the worst QB we have had here and his is not the best but he is our only option right now.

I root for Henne to succeed too, so I guess, I am also a real fan.  (Because clearly, that's the only real determining factor, right?)  I was one of his biggest supporters on this entire board last year because I wanted to see what he had.  I've seen enough now.

But any thread that talks about our QB situation will end up at this team's biggest weakness:  Henne.

I hope he lights it up also, but those chances are likely slim to none.

Realistically, what does Henne have to do to silence the haters?

Henne throws for 4000 yards, 28 TD's and 6 INT's - does that shut them up?

They will say it was an anomaly, a fluke, it was cloudy those days and Henne can't play when its sunny.  Whatever.

Haters will hate - all the time, no matter what.  Some people made up their mind on draft day 2008 that Henne sucks.  Those people will never be satisfied.  Ever.  Period.

I wouldn't put my self in the Henne Hater club because, simply, he had his chances and has failed.  I wished he hadn't and I only wish for him to be successful in the future, but...(insert Henne hate here).

For me to to think of him as a success would actually be statistically simple:  Win games.  I don't care what his numbers are because the only stat that matters is the "W" to me.  If he can win games he's supposed to or if he can win games that he's not supposed to...or hell, maybe steal victory from the jaws of defeat a couple of times I'd be happy.  If this team is a playoff team come January with Henne at the helm, then I will shut up about him.

However, based on what we've seen, I think these relatively meager improvements are highly unlikely.  I guess that makes me a "hater" or whatever that vague/useless term means.

Not about stats, hell its not even about wins/losses, its very simple!

Don't LOSE us games. Last year Henne LOST games for this team himself. Defense played well but Henne turned the ball over at the wrong time at the worst possible time. Just don't make the play that costs us to LOSE the game. If he can do that we will be fine.

Henne can improve, play well, and we can still lose games for other reaons (bad WR play, defense, special teams..etc). But HE can't be the reason we lose! That's what will make everyone happy

Im not so sure he can do that though. Hope Im wrong.

And yet strangely enough, I didn't hear San Diego fans saying that about Drew Brees in 2004.

The optimists claim that the Henne haters will hate him no matter what he does.  But these same people weren't hating on Noodles when he won the division, now were they?  And he was a lousy, stinkin' Jet.

P.S. If Henne wins like Sanchez has been, I still won't be happy.

Looks like Favre is not interested:

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6837873/brett-favre-not-interested-joining-miami-dolphins

Retired quarterback Brett Favre quashed any rumors he may be thinking of a return to the NFL on Friday.

Favre, who had been linked to the Miami Dolphins on Thursday, told the Miami Herald he isn't planning any more comebacks.

"I haven't heard anything, and I don't have any interest," Favre, 41, told the Herald when tracked down in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Friday.

"You're from Miami? Don't you have anything better to do?"

The Dolphins signed veteran quarterback Kevin O'Connell on Friday. The Dolphins' roster also includes Chad Henne, Matt Moore and rookie Pat Devlin.

Dolphins coach Tony Sparano fueled speculation Thursday when asked if he would "rule out any possibility of interest" in Favre.

"I can't rule anything out. OK? So, I mean, we don't rule anything out," Sparano said. "I don't know how you want me to answer that. That'll be all over the news now too, but I'm giving you the only answer I can give you."

An 11-time Pro Bowl selection, Favre retired in January after 20 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings.
