I got told Friday by a pair of Cardinal fans....I was with My mom and friend of mine shopping in Branson,(I was wearing a Cubs hat, my Mom had her Chicago T-shirt on)..Some lady tapped me on the shoulder and said you fired someone,not having a clue what in the world she was talking about.Thinking she was nuts we walked away to another section...We turned the corner a few minutes later,she was standing next to her husband (wearing a Cardinals T shirt),and he said "What do you think about losing Hendry?" I asked him " is this some sick joke,toying with the Cubs fans? You're gonna kick are ass isn't that enough?" He whipped out his Iphone and showed me an article....It made my day....
To celebrate I bought a Cubs Garden Gnome...
On a semi serious note,It also adds to my dislike /questioning/make me scratch my head of the Ricketts family...He dismissed Hendry July 22,but kept him on thought the draft,signing picks,and the trade deadline...I sort of see it, as stability to sign the draft picks,make trades,etc,but If I signed knowing that the GM was fired,I'd be pissed that I got duped...
