I haven't the slightest Denver might want for him in a trade, but for the right price, I'd be very interested in seeing Mr. Tebow in some wildcat down Miami way.

Didn't have any interest in trading for him, and even if he's released and doesn't cost anything, I still don't have any interest in the guy. He just isn't an NFL QB, imo...

He can't even throw a spiral!! He is the worst QB prospect in the last 10-15 years in the NFL. He's really THAT bad.

Now, I think Denver is doing him a dis-service by not sitting him down and saying "Listen, you're a great guy and you have a great work ethic and you're a great athlete...but you're just not cut out to be an NFL Quarterback. Would you be willing to try another position?".

I actually think Tebow could excel at another position, like Tight End or a big bruising, lead-blocking fullback who can also be versatile and either carry the ball or catch a dump-off pass every now and again.

For his sake, I hope he doesn't do what Eric Crouch did some years back, where he clearly was not an NFL QB and decided to not try another position. His NFL career was basically over the minute he made that decision, where he may have been able to be a good player at another position.

^^^ Great idea, I think the Giants should trade for him.

I'm with Sunstroke.  As I mentioned in another thread, I don't want a guy who makes two reads and takes off running.  He has a lot to learn about the QB position, and bringing him in would assure the team that if Henne doesn't get it right this year and the team has to move on, more years of growing pains would ensue.

Pass.

I didn't think Tebow was much of a prospect coming out of college, but he did play pretty well toward the end of the season last year.  It's not his fault Denver screwed the pooch by drafting him WAY too early and putting all the high expectations on him.

If he gets released I bet there would be a bunch of teams calling his agent the next day.

We already had an 8 page argument about this.  Tebow sucks.  No thanks.

If this were the NIRSA flag football championships, Tebow would be an all star.  In the NFL, not so much.

I guess I'm an extreme minority here.  I think he's probably better than anything we have on the roster at QB.  That's not saying much for Tim, BTW.   I just think he could be added to the mix as a fine wildcat back...with the actually ability to be a throwing threat in the formation.  It would be doing what he essentially did in college for 4 years.

We could have space for that guy.  Assuming compensation is no issue, (for the sake of argument) what's the harm in having him?  Would the greatness of Pat Devlin be relegated to the practice squad?   Gasp!

Matt Moore can be 3rd QB, Henne and Tebow fight it out for the starting gig with Tebow coming in for specialty formations as a change up (much like he did for Chris Leak).

He is the 2nd coming of Jim "CRASH" Jensen. If a coaching staff realizes that and plays to his strengths and doesn't try to force him to be a "classic" NFL QB, he will have value in this league.

Let him play special teams, tight end, some fullback, play quarterback in a handful of packages around the goaline where his skills are suitable.

I'm not giving up a lot to get him. But for a mid-round pick I can have my 3rd string QB also play multiple positions and help in multiple areas like Jim Jensen did back in the day, I would do it.

So, whichever Denver QB is not their starter is the guy we want?  No thanks.

I'd like to see any of Denver's top 3 here.  I think they're all capable of replacing Henne.
