While those are all tough opponents, I think they could win 4 or 5 of those that you've highlighted. Again, I see KC winning 10 or more, and only the future will prove that number right or wrong.

I predict KC to win 7 games, and I think that's being kind.

Much like Cincinnati in '09 or Tennessee (or Miami) in '08, I see them as a team that benefited heavily from a lot of fortunate breaks.  The team is just not that much better than they were two years ago.

The Detroit Lions.  I think they make the playoffs this year.

x2  they look good. Towards the end of the season last year it looked like the team was starting to come together.

KC wins "at least" 10 games during the regular season, and my honorary buck-drop would be on an 11-5 campaign.
If you want to reconsider, now's your chance...

^^^ I was wondering who would overreact to that KC meltdown...

Based on week one, I'm looking forward to the inevitable Houston-San Francisco Super Bowl, and seeing the Pittsburgh Steelers get the #1 pick in next year's draft.

 Roll Eyes

That said, the Chiefs did look fairly sucky. Wink

It's one game.

That being said, if KC doesn't win at least 3 games by their bye, my prediction of 7 wins will sound like hopelessly optimistic pillow talk.

I only brought it up because I was the guy saying "KC sucks" and wanted to pat myself on the back.  I think they were exposed yesterday, and still don't know why people think so highly of them.  One game or ten games, they are not a good team.

Not to mention they just lost Eric Berry for the year.

^^^ THAT hurts a lot... Berry is one of the most impressive young safeties in the game.

^^Ah so THAT'S why they FORCED Manning to get another surgery, so they could have Luck waiting in the wings when Manning retires. Smiley

I love a good conspiracy theory. Smiley

Indeed he is.  We were both high on him the year he was drafted.

Watching Washington's defense last night, I'd have to say it wouldn't surprise me to see them do well this year.

So far so good. Washington is 2-0 and leading their division.
