AS I predicted, Polite was cut today.

Murtha placed on IR, OUT FOR THE YEAR! We are stuck with Colombo and NO backup Tackle at either position now

Anyone have a list of the remaining 53, because I can't seem to come up with 53 that made the cut.

NM. Here it is. http://www.miamidolphins.com/team/roster

Trusnik and Feinga? Don't think I've seen either do anything in the preseason. I was surprised they cut Will Allen. Thought he looked really good in that last preseason game although it was against 2nd string. They must think he's too fragile to help them now. Also surprised they went with 6 WR's and 3 RB's and without a true FB. Never thought I'd see the day on a Tony Sparano coached team. That must have been tough for him to do. Looks like this is becoming the Brian Daboll offense and not the Tony Sparano offense.

Nate Gardner is listed as the backup RT dude

I'm pissed about the Larry Johnson and Pat Devlin cuts more than anything..LJ solely because it could've made a great story had he played and contributed..I'm cool with Bush, Thomas, and Hilliard..I'm NOT cool with ONLY rolling with 2 QB's..I like Devlin outta college, oh well

The 53 roster isn't set. No way that Miami goes into the season with 2 QB's. Expect someone to be picked up from the cuts from other teams. Could Brandstater end up back on Miami's roster or perhaps a Brodie Croyle?

I thought Devlin was on the practice squad.

Still got to have a 3rd QB on game day. Unless god forbid it's Thomas, but I don't think I saw a single wildcat play this preseason.

Nate Gardner as our back up tackle is like having no backup tackle. That's the point. If we are forced to play Gardner for either Long (coming off an injury) or Colombo (old and broken down) we are screwed

We worked out a QB that the Falcons cut, kid from l'vile I believe. Devlin's stay might not be long on the practice squad

Apparently you don't. I guess there was a rule change this year that I'm not aware of because several teams went with only 2 QB's this year. Perhaps your practice squad QB can be your third QB?

Apparently instead of having 45 active players on gameday plus your "emergency third string QB"  you can now have 46 active players on gameday.

His name was Adam Froman.  I wonder if he has any relation to Abe Froman, the sausage king of Chicago.

Trusknik was a standout on special teams.

I've actually seen it used quite a few different times.  Here's an article to pique your interest.
