[Dolphins claim Yeatman: According to ESPN.com, TE Will Yeatman was ready to sign on to Pats practice squad Sunday when he was informed he had been claimed by Dolphins. He will now be the No. 2 TE in Miami behind Anthony Fasano.]
(Updated 09/04/2011) CBS Sports

Love this move for WEEK 1...has to bring some of their offensive game plan knowledge with him....plus they were planning on keeping him on their practice squad, being that they're pretty deep at TE.

Yeah, so some guy who spent the preseason with the Pats and was going to be on the practice squad is going to bring his extensive knowledge of their playbook to the Dolphins.  Roll Eyes

Real mature.  This thread, which you started, is not about the Cardinals.  You're just another troll who has to resort to insults when someone doesn't agree with him.

Back to the subject matter:  Yes, he will help at TE, but he is not going to have any inside information that will help us beat the Patriots next week.

Don't like to be mocked and misquoted, which you seem to love to do.

Just stating the facts afterwards, buddy. Roll Eyes

known as a blocker, not really a pass catcher. Doesn't do much to improve our roster. Pisses off Belichick though so its a good move! lol

Exactly....unfortunately for us, this is a team which we need every little edge against that we can get.

This is not a huge upgrade to justify your level of enthusiasm. Also if you think the signing of a practice player to a division rival who is not the Jets really had any effect on Belichick, then you are a fool.
Explain why this signing would even remotely piss of Belichick?

For the TE position, I believe no other team matches up to the Pats, with regards to starter and backup (Gronkowski and Hernandez) who combined for almost 90 catches and over 1000yds.  Yes, I'd gladly take Gates, Finley and Witten over them any day, but both players would likely start for 90% of the teams in the NFL>

So, yes I agree with Mike O in suggesting that this would piss off Belichek, knowing full well that they are losing a player to a rival that was weak at the TE position to begin with.

Cause he told the guy yesterday he wanted him for his practice squad. He didn't want to lose this kid. I didn't say Belichick was stomping mad over it to the point he was pulling out his hair. I said the move pissed off Belichick. Nothing more, nothing less.No need to read all that much into it.

I think they brought him in for the same reason the Jets signed Patrick Turner last year after we cut him.   We could use the inside information.
