ACTUALLY...not to rain on everyone's sudden man-crush on Henne, but he overthrew and underthrew a lot of balls last night.  A lot.  Now, that being said, he also had a Patriot slamming into him or around his feet ALL night as well.  My game ball goes to Chad, hands down, but he was not without flaw last night.

Yes, that's true. he did look better than last year, and his mobility was greatly improved.

Agreed.   Maybe it was just me, but it also seemed like Henne was carrying himself with a lot more confidence last night.  In the past, he has almost seemed timid, both as a leader and in his on-field decision making.

His helmet seemed looser-fitting... Unlike last year, it didn't look like his mug was trying to squeeze its way out of his facemask. My game ball goes to the Miami equipment manager, for finally giving Henne a helmet that fits.

I want to see how Henne does next week V Houston when he doesn't have the emotions of a Monday night / opening week "rush thing" going.

Houston, unlike New England, has a defense...and a scary good one at that.  Next week is a real test.

Same can be said for New England.  If Miami dropped almost 500 yards of offense on them, what the heck will Phillip Rivers and company do?

Henne.  He looked like an NFL QB last night.  The O-line did alright, broke down a bit in the second half (especially Columbo).  Bush played well, was a nice change from DQ Brown.  Fasano, Bess, & Marshall had some nice catches.

I know one thing for sure... they didn't get Bess involved early last night like in the past. I'm not sure why that was the case...

But not really because of the offense... They should have had at least one more touchdown, yes, but... come on, man!

The sky is falling. We lost by 14 points in a game we could have possibly lost by 7. Yes the defense looked terrible but to say the offense did as well is just Chicken Little shit.

Of course Henne gets my game ball vote.  And I too would like to give an honorable mention to Fasano for some damn fine catches.

To me, the thing that was cool to see about Henne was that he looked like a man who is swinging back.  He is refusing to go gently into that good night.  Loved it.  Time will tell what he will be, but for now he is winning over support with his effort.

I hope people saw what I saw when he ran that one ball down to around the three yard line.  I thought for sure he would slide and never thought for a second he would lay out like that and go head first.  I think he got an extra 7 yards or so.  Gutsy, very gutsy.  Loved it!

I never said the offense played terrible..Sorry, I just don't believe in moral victories..clearly everyone else does....hence why this team has been content with being mediocre for as long as I can remember

yes, Henne did play much better than everyone expected, but I just don't understand how your preparation for TOM BRADY, is to let him have a career game....so much for that top 5 defense

there's a reason this site is called "the dolphins make me cry"

For those of you into symbolic victories (and based on the amount 2007 NYG love that was here, I think that is most of you) the game ball should go Jared Odrick.

Jareed Odrick ended Tom Brady's streak of 358 consecutive passes in the regular season without being picked off.  This streak goes back to October 24, 2010.

Henne has played well in all three night home openers (usually orange jersey games).  Let's hope it continues through the season, for once.

Miami tends to end most of NE's streaks.  They also ended NE's 21-game regular season winning streak with the Wildcat game, and I think that also ended some huge home winning streak for the Patriots.
