Greg Camarillo is a better WR than Sapp is as a corner.  It was bad trade.

Camarillo couldn't beat out 1 WR on our roster currently.

Fins signed CB Brandon King. Undrafted out of Purdue in 2010

Thank god.  He was by far my least favorite player.

Good.  I hope this puts some other players on notice.  (Nolan Carrol, I'm looking at you.) Evil

What does this say about our front office.  They had all last season and this preseason to evaluate him, and they cut him 1 game into the year after his salary is guaranteed?

Who is going to play the nickel?  Wilson?

I would have liked this if we had brought in a veteran or even Allen.  Now we will have a rookie against the slot (or Nolan Carroll), not a good idea IMO.

This is a knee jerk reaction that I don't see going well.  I know Sapp got torn up by Welker, but we should have adjusted our scheme until we had a suitable replacement.

Knee Jerk reaction....YES! To make Sapp the scapegoat is unfair. The whole defense got burned. Not 1 guy. Sapp was no worse than anyone else.

Will Allen returning....I would be surprised if that happens. He hasn't played in 2 years, I don't see it.

Our Front Office....proving once again its clueless. Ireland/Sparano need to go. They have screwed up the RB/CB/O-line beyond belief.

Excellent point.  This front office has NO foresight, always 20/20 hindsight.  If we want to compete in this league at the top level, or at least near the top 1/3, the we need to have a front office in place that makes good football decisions.  if you look at the perennial top teams, their front office is well respected and in order.

I know our front office, and you my friend, you're no Jack Kennedy.

I would hope something else happened behind the scenes for this to happen, and not that it was based on just last nights game.

Can't say this surprises me and I would not be opposed to seeing Carroll get the boot as well......after they have a legitimate backup plan in place however.

Definitely a knee jerk reaction but it had to be done.  Just like after last year's special teams debacle against the Patriots, it was a knee jerk reaction to get rid of John Bonamego but they did it.

Talk about the front office taking an "I'm not fucking around" approach.

The problem is they don't have a back up plan to a lot of the stuff they're doing...  Huh
