That was the dumbest maneuver of Sporano's stupid filled career.  Not only do you end up punting, but you also waste a time out when you're down by double digits as time ticks off in the 4th quarter.  You either punt or you go for it.  Don't run the time down AND take a time out.

Dumbest.  Call.  Ever.

Sporano should be fired for this and a host of other reasons, but they won't do it now.  I'd say give the job to Mike Nolan, but he's shown no ability calling a defense this season.  I think he wants out also.  Who wouldn't?

Or maybe a spade is a spade.  Sporano should have been fired at the end of last season and now he's only sticking around to prove it.

I said it after last season with the Harbaugh debacle. The sky wasn't falling, the sky fell! It just took some people 9 more months to figure it out. YOU CAN'T try to replace your coach and bring him back. You can't try to replace your QB and bring him back.

Sparano extremely consistent..back to back 7-9 seasons, 0-2 starts and the worst timeout caller in NFL history.

I'm not calling for his head. But you see it as 2 games into the season. Some people see it as Year 4 and things getting worse.

Get rid of Sparano and Henne. They are both useless. Dan Marino.... PLEASE COME OUT OF RETIREMENT!  I can't believe that we let Ronny Brown and Ricky Williams get away but kept Henne.  No wonder why Parcels decided that we were a lost cause.
