I don't recall anyone predicting we would go 16-0 and I'm pretty sure no one picked us to go 15-1. In fact I remember a whole lot of 8-8s and less so why do so many people seem surprised we are having some issues getting going? I read through this board and you would think the 72 Dolphins' record was being pulled or something.

Why the panic from so many people when the season has just started and no one really thought we had a legitimate shot at making a deep run anyway? I don't get it. Take a couple of slow deep breaths through your nose, hold it, and then slowly let it our through your mouth. Lastly ... come in off of that ledge!

You see it as a couple of games. MANY of us see it as year 4 and nothing has changed. Not 1 damn thing. Special teams....still bad. O-line...gets worse every year. QB....can't get us in the endzone. blah blah blah,. Nothing Ever Changes!

It's like reading the same book every year and expecting a different ending. We know the ending, its gonna be bad!

Ok so why do you act like it is something new every single week? That's the point. You knew it was going to be bad more than it was going to be good. Why spend so much time acting surprised and disgusted that we aren't going to be playing for the Super Bowl? There are 14 more games for which to see some improvement. Enjoy the postives and relax. We are stuck with what we have until the offseason.

I don't think he's acting like it is something new every week. Who wants to just sit there and watch a team you root for lose every week? It's just frustrating, is all.

CF Dolfan...are you a season ticket holder?  If you were, i'm sure you wouldn't be accepting this product....which by the way is what is happening.(People are avoiding these home games)  Fans are tired of waiting for improvements and until the leaders are replaced, we will still be faced with the occassional great performance and the usual listless ones!

Excellent way to sum this up.

I've been a season ticket holder 7 of the last 10 years... when I can afford it.  I was one of the few left in the stadium in 2005 when we came back from a 20 point deficit in the 4th quarter to beat Buffalo and I was there in OT when we won our 1 game against Baltimore in 2007. I spend thousands of dollars, which is very tough on our budget, each year to travel and watch my favorite team the Miami Dolphins play. I am as disappointed as anyone but acting like I am 5 years old every Sunday and Monday does not change the fact we saw this coming months ago during the offseason coaching debacle. Now it's time to sit back and enjoy whatever we can because nothing is going to change from one week to the next.  There will be some bright spots that you will never enjoy because you are just looking for more reasons to bitch.

That leaves me with this question. How is that working out so far?

Why do you continue to be a fan, if that is the case?  If you're that unhappy with the team, year after year, why stick around?  You, and a couple others here, are clearly miserable -- and have been for years.  You whine about it more than my five year old whines when she doesn't get to watch her favorite TV show after bedtime.  Being honest, not mean.

You are not being constructive, you're being negative.  Constantly.  There is a difference.  If being a Miami Dolphin fan is such a drain on your, or anyone's, lives...why keep doing it?  There is a difference between being a frustrated fan who is sick of losing...and one who just likes to point out that nothing will ever get better, we suck...blah blah blah.  It gets old.  Quickly.

There comes a time when the constant whining and bitching makes people look ridiculous.  That time is about now.

I call B.S. on this, sorry.

I was a Red Sox ticket holder until 2005, when I couldn't afford the tickets any longer.  Year after year I saw the product get worse in the 1980's.  As a fan, however, I stuck it out.  I was rewarded for that patience, although at times it certainly didn't feel like I ever would be.  Hate to break it to people here, but there are worse franchises in sports!

I get what you're saying.  I also think there is a difference between just wanted to be right and being frustrated with the team.  With some people here it literally doesn't matter what they do.  Wayne sucked, he needs to go.  He did...now the new owner sucks.  They need to do this, or that.  If the team goes left, they should have gone right.

None of us are pleased with the fact that this team hasn't been to the Super Bowl since 1984.  That's a long freaking time.  But, again, if people are that unhappy...there are a bunch of other teams out there that would love your support.  There certainly comes a time when no one would blame people for jumping ship.

Well, to be fair, calling someone's argument B.S. when their statement seemed pretty close to accurate isn't a nice response in its own right.

You are not being constructive, you're being negative.

What is there to be positive about? Please point out the positives, I'm dying to hear it

Maine is just someone who can dish it out but can't take it. He feels if everyone doesn't "think" like him then they shouldn't be a fan. He lives in a bubble
