Where the hell is this guy?  So far, a HUGE BUST!  Another feather in Ireland's cap.

considering we gave up little to get him I wouldn't call it a bust. Anyone who expected him to be an every down back  hasn't watched much football the past few years.

He is a special player if used right. Daboll hasn't used him right since the 1st drive of the 1st game of the year.

Bush can be dangerous if he used like a receiver, if he has the ball with open field he can make big plays, but I quess when you think about it so can anyone else.    Roll Eyes

I think he's square peg in a round hole...

Reggie Bush - The flash bang name brought in to keep the owner happy for the marquee to sell tickets...

I see him in more ads for Pizza hut than I do making plays for the Dolphins....More having to do with our team is built...

This year we burnt the 1966 Green Bay Packers offensive play book,in which our team has been based, and built around the past three years...Our offensive line isn't good enough to run those slow developing plays to the outside that will get Bush in space...So when we bring him in, it's either a pass,or a draw up the middle....When Daniel Thomas comes in,When he runs they might hit him at 2 yards, but he plows for another 2-3 yards...I think we're making conscious efforts not to bring Thomas in,and the Defense scream running play, bring in Reggie, the defense screams pass play...

I think putting him out as a WR,takes away his mismatch against the LB,they'll cover him with a corner...Which I do understand it gives us the advantage after the catch...I don't think he's a great threat as WR,but I think it's how we'll use him down the road,if we can keep the QB upright...

I hate the idea of it, but I'd think we must have a trick play or two with Reggie Bush...

Just the way I see it... Undecided

I like having Bush on the team, but I think that he's just not a guy that you're going to depend on as your feature back (like MikeO said).  He's a nice player, but not your bread and butter, like we're using him.

That said, he still can't be fumbling.  Used poorly or not, hold on to the ball.

It also drives me nuts that we don't use Bush as our punt returner on EVERY punt. It's the one thing they guy does very well at a high level. And we don't put him in that role? It's stupid beyond belief. It really is. It's like the Bears not using Hester or the Browns not using Cribbs or Philly not using Jackson.

This rotation between Gates, Bess, and now Bush is just dumb.

MikeO, u hit the nail on the head.  he's a special back, and he needs to be used in situations to take advantage of his cutting & speed.  Sparano said today in his news conference that Bush is still his #1 back?!?!

really???  D. Thomas has outrushed Bush (not knocking here, just stating stats) and is better between the tackles.

sometimes I believe these coaches think they know ALL and don't like being 2nd guessed.  most are arrogant to a fault, but I'm afraid Tony's just clueless.
