I'm as pissed as everyone else, but I think that we need to be smart.  I think it's important to determine what needs to be fixed and work on the worst areas first.  Sure, we'd be better if we had a better QB or coach, but replacing those positions just because we're bad doesn't make much sense to me.  That's not saying that we shouldn't replace those guys, but don't do it just to do it.  In short, you can't just "replace everyone".  It doesn't work that way.  Find problem areas and find things to build around first.

Here's where I see our biggest problems that need to change:

GM - Ireland has been a consistant negative for us.  Most of our drafts picks have not worked out, and even our free agent acquisitions, though we have gotten some big names, none have really worked out to be what we signed up for.  Brandon Marshall, for example....he's a good player, but he's not been the elite guy that we need, when we're putting so much stock in him.

Dan Carpenter - I like the guy, but he can't make kicks.  Sure, it wouldn't be a big deal i we could score TDs, but you don't evaluate your kicker on how well the overall offense is.  Either he can consistantly make kicks, or he can't.  ...and he can't.  Unfortunately for him, I think you need to get a new guy.  You can't afford to wait until he gets his head straight.  If Carpenter hits his kicks, we're 2-1.

Columbo - I don't really know what to say.  The guy just isn't very good.

Nolan Carol - Same thing.  He just isn't getting it done.

And I think that's it, in terms of areas that are outright broken.

On notice:

Tony Sparano - I don't think that we're winning games if we have a slightly better coach.  The upheaval that getting rid of a guy causes might not be worth it, unless you find someone you really like to replace him.  I didn't like the call to go long at the end of the game when you needed 12 yards, but it was one play.  In general, we were in a position to win that game, all game, and our players didn't produce.

Henne - Same thing.  He's playing well enough not to be replaced.  That's not to say that you don't get a superstar if the opporunity comes along, but he's not the reason we're losing.

Reggie Bush - I'm not sure if it's that he's just not a #1 back or that he's been used improperly.  We need to figure that out.  But at present, we have a big name player that I don't want touching the ball.

Brandon Marshall - He's not worth it, quite frankly.  He is expected to do a lot, and doesn't.

Bring in Gruden. Get rid of Ireland, Sparano and Henne.

Ireland is the biggest problem yet.  He gets rid of players just to bring in Dallas trash, like has been said a million times.  He trades players for nothing, cuts players who contribute, and sucks at drafting.

its 2011, not the mid 80's... this team is not built to win in today's nfl. i.e. put up video game points on the scoreboard.

folks thought it was a "scheme" thing, bring in new "wide open" offensive coordinator. new "schemes", same results... the triggerman that this offense is built around is simply an average care taker at the qb position. he can't win games for you, and in today's game, that is not good enough.

funny how in buffalo, who is the head coach again? oh yeah chan gailey... who is the assistant head coach? oh yeah, some guy by the name of dave wannestedt. funny how a qb can make idiots look like geniuses in this game.

Henne IS the reason we are losing. Lead a TD drive for pete sakes. One a game isn't cutting it!  What games do you people watch? Seriously. He doesn't make any plays. He's the quarterback.... THAT'S A PROBLEM!

In order to lead a TD drive, you need to have receivers get open, have guys block for you, and people make catches.  We have a superstar WR who doesn't catch touch passes, for example.  Marshall is getting huge money to do things like help his QB out.  He doesn't.

Henne is not elite, but you can't just cut him and get another bum and expect things to be different.  I don't even want to defend Henne.  He's not the problem.  I hate to tell you, but you're just wrong.  You can say that the buck stops with him because he's at a position that magifies that, and you'd be right, but if you're looking to win games now, replacing your QB without having a specific upgrade won't help you.  You can't just cut your starting QB and hope for the best.

Sparano's done...no longer on notice...this team needs a major shakeup, beginning with the coach.  I hope they stay put, though, and ride this shipwreck right to the draft.

Henne can't get the ball to Marshall.  Marshall is too smart to play with Henne.  Like that Houston game last week.  Jason allen vs. Marshall 1 on 1.  They were on the 15 or 20 yard line and allen lined up on marshall.  just before the snap allen moved back about 7 yards.  Marshall ran his route and allen was still giving him a 7 yard cushion, marshall stops about the 3 yard line and henne throws the ball right to all who was 5 yards deep in the end zone.  Luckily allen dropped the interception, but that is the problem with henne.  he can't read a fucking defense.  Marshall realizes how terrible henne is, and doesn't look like he even wants to play with him anymore.  The whole offense is sick of henne.

How could they possibly be any worse right now.  They are 0-3.  they have lost two games by double digits. The scored 1 td against a terrible defense tonight.

Unless Miami goes on some sort of crazy win streak, there is no doubt that Sparano & Ireland will not be back.  Just a matter of picking the most opportune time, which is debatable.  I didn't say anything last week, but when Sparano says after game #2 that he doesn't know what has to be done, then how do you command much respect from your players.  After losing to Cleveland, Jtex may be right, the Fins may go 0-16.

red zone efficiency is the problem. it's when the windows are smaller, timing is sped up, and like steve young says "no one is open inside the 20. you have to throw guys open." henne's accuracy is the biggest issue. 50% just isn't good enough...

you're right, the dolphins can't fix their problems this year. but until they get a qb that is accurate, makes good decisions, and actually forces defenses to account for this, the dolphins will play this 3 year regime switching story over, and over, and over.

qb's make idiots look like geniuses. look no further than the success the bills are having right now.

What freaking upheaval we lost to the f-ing Cleavland Browns WITHOUT Hillis it cannot get any worse we would be better of promoting someone as interim and giving them a 12 game interview. If that does not work we look for a coach this off season. He has had enough time .
