Thursday Morning Read by Armando Salguero

I think it is also important to use Bush in situations where his presence is a matchup problem for the defense. In that regard, it's puzzles me why the Dolphins don't use Bush is a base formation and then motion him out wide to the slot or elsewhere.

This forces the defense to cover Bush with a linebacker or strong safety out in space. That is a mismatch problem for the defense. It makes sense to use. And the Dolphins practiced this tons in the preseason. It was evident to anyone who attended the open practices.

They apparently continue to practice it since workouts have closed to all outside eyes. But the puzzling thing is they don't use it in games.

And that puzzles Bush as well.

Welcome to the club, Reggie, it puzzles us fans as well. Smiley

I also find it funny that during the preseason all the pundits were worried about D. Thomas and his ability to run the ball and the 2 games he's started, he's avg. 100 yds/game.

They need to get Bush in space, it's that simple.  Doesn't Daboll see that?!?!?

I think the experiment (inside running) is over.  They had to see what Thomas could do before they committed Bush to a specific role.  They were really trying to get teams to respect Bush inside to get the personnel match up they wanted.  It didn't happen.

But who cares because Bush is going to beat nearly everyone in space, regardless of the personell package.

I would love to see more screen plays to Bush, but our O-line isn't quite ready to keep guys off of him.  As the commentator said in the Cleveland game, "Bush is not a tackle breaker, he is a space player".  Gotta let Bush get around guys and not through them and our O-line is just a step behind on those outside blocks so far.

We all know what Bush is capable of and to see Miami trying to use him as an every down back was a huge mistake.  He is more of a WR in RB form an needs to be used as such. I dont know why  ASSHAT Sparano , DabFOOL , does not see that.

It took 3 games for the Dolphins to realize that Bush was being mis-used?

You have to adapt MUCH faster in today's NFL. That adjustment should have been made at half-time of the 1st game, not after 3 full games.

This is one reason why the Dolphins are 0-3 and staring 0-4 in the face.
