its the start of the 4th quarter.  while they're up by 29 (soon to be 22), I still think its too early to assign game balls.

Yeah I know it was early but I am stoked best game I've seen dolphins play in a long time. I am guilty of premature celebration. I hope we have some gas left for thursday.

If it was the Giants playing the Eagles I would agree.  But I think Mia's lead over the Bills is safe.

Matt Moore. Too soon to get overly excited about him, but I'm beginning to understand what all the talk was about in Carolina a few years ago. -EK

It takes time for a QB to develop and even for a fully developed QB to get use to the WRs.  By the time the Dolphins need to make a draft pick, they will have much better idea of what Moore can and can't do than anyone had at the begining of the season.

I figure the offense was constructed to utilize Chad Henne's strengths and avoid his weaknesses.  Matt Moore is a different guy and so the game plan required adjustment.  You notice that Moore has been better but so has Reggie Bush and so has the defense.

Just takes time to adjust, I guess...?

Very good defensive effort. Only allowed 6 defensive points, and 3 of those was from a 56 yard FG.

Defense once again shut a team down. Granted KC, Wash, and Buffalo aren't high scoring offenses. But I have said and will keep saying that since Week 1 this defense has been an above average to outstanding unit.

I mean Cam Wake has disappeared this year and been a non-factor and once Rashed Jones left the starting lineup the secondary has improved, but aside from that this unit has been stellar most weeks.

This is something that we'd hoped for at the beginning of the year, that the defense was going to be pretty good, and we'd hope for some improvement from the offense.  It started looking that way, with Henne playing better, but the defense was a turd out of the gate.  I wonder what happened?  Which is the true Dolphin defense?  The one that sucked to start the season, or the one shutting teams down now?

This also leads us to thinking about next year...does our defense need big changes?
