Just fired from Texas A&M. He had the Packers deep in the playoffs a couple times if I remember correctly. What do you think about him as our next coach?

Sherman got them all the way to the title game if memory serves.  I was kind of wondering what happened to him.  They could do a lot worse, but if I can't have Gruden, I'm almost willing to have them hire a no-name for two years, assuming Sparano even gets the boot and with Stephen Ross that's a big IF.

If he couldn't coach successfully in the Big 12 (in a down year) what makes anyone think he can compete with Belichick, Rex, hell even Gailey!

Don't worry Tony is toast. Just look at the attendance numbers from every home game this year. LOST REVENUE! Tony is done he can't survive that.

Actually a really bad home loss between now and the end of the year and he might get the AX on a Monday or Tuesday morning like Del Rio. Just because!

Great idea to get a guy that was fired from college football to be our head coach.

I would actually be cool with Gruden and would love him with Nolan and a young, high draft pick QB.  But my vote would be for Fisher.  That guy is a damn good coach and his battery is recharged.  If he hadn't had so many personnel/financial issues to deal with in Nashville, they would have been a major force yearly.

As of now the guy atop my wish list if Jeff Fisher.

He has worked for a wacky owner before, that won't phase him. He is a professional NFL head coach, no rookie or on the job training BS. Only 1 year removed from the game. Was Head of the competition committee for many many years which is always nice. And he has a level of calm about him which Miami needs right now. Someone not stomping around on the sidelines like Sparano fist pumping 23 yard field goals. And someone who can just settle the Dolphins organization and everything around it down.

From the players arguing with fans, to the owner acting like a fool at times, to the coaching staff.....Miami needs someone who will just tell everyone to settle down. Dolphins fans, the owner, and most of the players (which is odd when it comes to players but true in this instance) are wired way too tight and way over sensitive, especially this year. That has to change. That culture isn't healthy.

Del Rio should have been fired years ago.  That doesn't feed my confidence in the owner at all.
