Mods- can anyone add a poll? Just a yes/no option? Thanks!

Never actually thought it was even a possibility, but the way he's playing lately, I have to ask. Sitting at 667, already a career high, he needs 333 yards, or a little over 83 a game to do it. Final four games are against Eagles, Bills, Pats, Jets. -EK

That schedule makes it do-able.  The Eagles, Bills, and Pats defenses are completely awful.

I didn't really follow him at NO so I was really surprised to hear that he has a career high right now.

I think everyone has to give Bush a lot of credit.  He's having his best season ever, and is playing better than anyone could have expected.  I was excited when they acquired him, and I think he can be one of the leaders that the offense needs.

Reggie is playing well. Doesn't say much for Daboll that it took him 7 weeks or so to figure out how to use him and NOT run him between the tackles over and over and over again. When everyone in the football breathing world knew that it wouldn't work.

I wanted Darren Sproles over Reggie Bush.  Still kind of do.  To me, Darren Sproles is a better Reggie Bush than Reggie Bush.  It would've made a lot more sense to sign Sproles than give up a draft pick for Bush.  However, I'm far less of a Reggie Bush hater these days.  It may have a few 2 yards carries here and there, but from what I've seen..which is pretty much everything thanks to my buddy getting the NFL Ticket..he runs hard every run.  I'm not saying he's a bruiser of a RB, far from it, however he is tough to bring down.  I'm also not saying I'm comfortable with Reggie Bush being the feature back for years to come..I'm basically just saying that Bush has been a pleasant surprise this year.

Reggie was lowering his shoulder and flat hitting people today. Just about the only thing on either side of the ball that looked good. Up to 760 yards. With 3 left, he needs 80 per game. -EK

Buffalo - 25th rush defense/ 130 yards per game
New England - 13th rush defense/ 107 yards per game
NYJ - 14th rush defense/ 109 yards per game

let's say for argument purposed that those averages are intact, and we'll split them down the middle for the Bush and Thomas.  Under that analogy, Bush should get 65 against Buffalo.  53 v.s. New England, and 54 against the jets.  Those games would give him 942 yards on the season.  So it's not unfeasible for him to finish with 1,000 yards this year.  Do it Reggie!

1,000 is still nice, but it isn't as much of an accomplishment as it was back when there was a 14 game regular season.   Guess I'm dating myself as an old goat with that comment.  LOL

It's only 63 yards per game. But considering how Reggie started the year and how bad he was, it would be an accomplishment for him this season.

^^I'm agreeing here. Lop off the first three games of the season, and he still has a shot at 1000 on a 13 game count. His start was awful. -EK

Bush @ 770 yds, Thomas (with ltd action) @ 508 vs. Ronnie "Dancing" Brown @ 71 and Ricky Williams @ 351 - one of the better moves the Dolphins have made in recent years.

Needed to get younger and more explosive at RB, Ireland, Sprano and the staff did good doing that.

Also no drop off of losing Polite as well. Hilliard was in many aspects better than Polite ever was!
