No, I don't have this in the wrong forum. I want to know who among us is still wanting us to suck this year for a better draft pick, vs who wants us to win. I also want to know if you are a half empty or half full person.

Call it a TDMMC Sociology experiment. lol

I want the Dolphins to win every game. I am also a glass half full person.
(Actually, I am a glass is ALWAYS full person. Its half full of water and half full of air. Wink )

Don't care.  The season is completely lost and useless either way, and that was pretty much locked in when Miami won its second game.

- we aren't good enough to make the playoffs (or do anything there)
- we aren't bad enough to get a franchise-changing draftee

Man I just see this as going in a circle. Everyone knows my position.

When I see a glass in that state, I think to myself that it is time to order a new drink.

I no longer want the Dolphins to lose, since Luck is now out of the running.
However, I did want us to lose, for a while.

I would say that very optimistic people would call me "half empty".  I consider myself a realist.  It's a matter of labeling.

I don't really (notice I said "really", as I'm still on the fence) want to win because at the worst, it gives people the impression that the coach and some staff should stay and that there really isn't a problem. I want them to win because I just like watching my favorite team to win. If there was a way to lose out and get a franchise QB, then I'd want them to do that.

I want the Dolphins to lose.  I wanted that at the start of the season.  I will want that next season.

I am a half full kinda guy.

This season has become a veritable no lose situation for me now that the top picks are lost to us.

If the Dolphins win:  yay!  Dolphins win!
If the Dolphins lose:  yay!  it only helps us get a higher draft pick.

The worst case scenario is 7-9 or 8-8, but at this point I'm just enjoying the games for the entertainment they provide on Sundays.  The season has been over since before the end of September so now all I have to do is sit back, relax, and wait for the draft...in 5 months.

Well, at the 0-7 point I wasn't rooting for them to lose, but it didn't bother me if they lost.  Now that they have won a few games, and are for the most part out of the running for a franchise changing QB, I want them to win every week.  I'm now in the lets get Peyton Manning as our next QB syndrome!!

This pretty much sums it up.  Allow me to add that the passion of wanting the Dolphins to win, has always, and will always, be there for me.

Even if the franchise QB scenario is shot, as far as I can tell the only thing winning accomplishes is hurting our draft position so I say play like beasts, punch Brady in the mouth and lose every game by 1 point.

I'm a half empty sort.

Not going to the playoffs, might as well lose.

Nothing to gain by winning

I haven't cared about the outcome since week 8 or whenever it was we won the 1st game. After that the suck for luck scenario was pretty much shot to hell seeing as how indy was playing and no way we were making the playoffs, so not much to care about at that point.  I enjoy watching them win more than I enjoyed watching them lose, but do I really care? Nope.
