I thought it would be interesting to run a poll to ask this question.

is he even eligible?

I was joking with a co-worker (a Colts fan) that they should bring Peyton in to play the last 1 or 2 games, just to see the difference.  If they do that and they win, he is the MVP for sure.

Short of that, though, you don't know how awful the Colts would have been with him in there...  They might have still sucked.

Oops, I read it wrong. I thought you said for the 2012 season.  I said he'd be in the top 3.  2011. Zero votes.

He's probably already a lock for 2012's Comeback Player Of The Year though

That assumes he comes back.

If your Peyton Manning do you even want to return to the Colts next year?  Of course if the Colts are going to pay him his $28 mil bonus you come back, but the Colts obviously suck way worse than the Fins, or any other team.  This is a great opportunity for Manning to go to a much better team with better Super Bowl possibilities, and the Indy fans can't be pi$$ed at him because they are getting Luck.

If Peyton Manning gets a vote, whoever votes for him is trolling and trying to make the story about himself.

Outlandish. His own teammates recently spoke out against the possibility, calling it "insulting" and "ridiculous." -EK

He got 0 votes.

If IND had finished with less wins than GB had losses (so, in this case, 0-16), I still think Manning would have gotten a few votes.
