Montana, Bledsoe, Warner, Favre, etc all aren't ever going to play for different team either.

Why would they play for another team, they are all retired!  Roll Eyes

Plus I thought we were talking about Brees!

Warner was pretty terrible for a couple years. when the rams got rid of him he sucked, same with the giants.

I think you missed the point.

At one time Bledsoe was the face of the NEP, no way was in going else where.
At one time Montana was the face of the 49rs, no way was in going else where.
At one time Favre was the face of the Packers, no way was in going else where.
etc.

Brees means no more to NO, than Montana meant to the 49ers.

I got the point, it was a dumb point. It makes zero sense.

The 49ers had a legit back-up to Montana at the time. They could in the pre-salary cap era. Those days are over.

Get Bledsoe out of this debate. He  never was in the same class as any of the other guys.

GB had drafted Favre's replacement and if Favre didn't go back and forth on retiring and un-retiring, he would have finished in GB probably. Unique situation to say the least! Favre screwed over the team, that's why he left. He couldn't give them a straight answer every offseason till they finally got fed up with him.

Peyton Manning will NEVER EVER EVER play for the Miami Dolphins. EVER. Period.

Is that clear enough for you guys?

It's not even known at this point if he will even play again, period.

In case you missed it:

Huh  yah right...who you taking for the Super Bowl/...hopefully the Pats!

Manning playing somewhere else almost has the Apollo Creed fighting Drago feel. With the rest of the league saying, "I must break you.' Peyton is too expensive of a risk. Especially with there being talk of him might not even being able to play next year. He has a family now. If the Colts release him he will/should retire.

Hearing Seahawks also interested?   If only we knew Flynn was for real?
