AFC East Championships since 1960

New England Patriots- 14
Miami Dolphins- 13
Buffalo Bills- 10
Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts- 6
Houston Oilers- 4
New York Jets- 4

What is really awesome about this is not just that the Patriots now have more AFCE championships than the Dolphins (you might not find this fact so awesome).

But that the Jets a team that has been in said division for 53 years is tied with the Houston Oilers for last place.  The Oilers a team that left the AFCE over 40 years ago.  The Colts who are also no longer in the division have more AFCE championship than the Jets.

Nice try, Patriots fan.  Why are you counting "AFC East Championships since 1960" when the American Football Conference has only existed since 1970?

The actual all-time championship list for the AFC East (not the AFL East) are as follows:

New England Patriots- 13
Miami Dolphins- 13
Buffalo Bills- 7
Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts- 6
New York Jets- 2

The Dolphins didn't even come into the league until 1966.  Way to skew the stats, Hoodie  Tongue

Now all we gotta do is get rid of Joe Namath and I'll be a happy guy.
