Sanchez is having the worst year of his career.

Mike- simple question for you. Which is a better season?

PCT     Yards     TD     INT     Rushing Yards    Rush TD's     QB rating

53.8      2444    12      20        106                        3             63.0       Team record 9-7, number 1 defense, number 1 rushing

56.7      3474    26      18        103                        6             78.2       Team record 8-8, number 5 defense, number 22 rushing

Bullshit roughing call.

Exactly.  Bell was in midair before Sanchez released the ball.  As a ref, you gotta let that one slide.

WE ALL GET IT, YOU LOVE MARC SANCHEZ AND HE CAN DO NO WRONG IN YOUR EYES! I'm not playing your silly game, hide behind the stats sheet all you want. But Sanchez LOST GAMES BY HIMSELF this year for his team (Denver, Miami, Giants...etc). You can spin the stats anyway you want, Sanchez was beyond bad this year. He was terrible. BUT WE GET IT, YOU LOVE HIM!!!

last 3 weeks of the year with a playoff spot in his grasp, Marc threw 7 INT's to 5 TD's and had so many fumbles I lost count.....but it was a great year for him  Roll Eyes

Nope, don't love him. Just think he wasn't having his worst year ever. Way to dodge the simplest of questions. FAIL. -EK

So.....when you want to argue a point till you're blue in the face and you're wrong, it's OK but when anyone else does it, it's a silly game. Interesting. Couple things you should note- "had so many fumbles I lost count" was actually only 2 fumbles in those three games (one each against Philly and the Giants), so I'm guessing counting to 2 is problematic for you; and Sanchez, depsite what you believe and keep typing, actually does not spell his name Marc- it's Mark. This is a perfect illustration of MikeO-world. You can't even get a player's name correct (numerous times), but you want to argue his play. 2 fumbles, Mike. 2 -EK

Oh wait, I spelled Marc instead of Mark, so that means he must of played great now. That's it, that incorrect spelling changes reality! Sorry, I have seen it spelled both ways, if it is "technically" Mark and I am wrong, is it really that big a deal and does it change the essence of the debate at hand. Answer: NO!

2 fumbles in 3 games to go with 7 INT's in those 3 games means he had 9 turnovers in 3 games. An avg of 3 turnovers a game. Great year! lol

Why can't you just admit you were WRONG? It wasn't his worst year, he didn't have more fumbles than you could count, and you're not always correct. Are you purposely being dense? -EK

Because I am not wrong. Sanchez was terrible this year.

I will admit I am wrong about Sanchez when you admit you are wrong about Jerome Simpson and Tim Tebow. Deal?! I am not trying to change your mind about Sanchez, love the guy and drink his bath water. I don't care! You aren't changing my mind (and others around here) on him. Deal with it!

I have no problem saying he had a bad year. But it wasn't- as you said- his worst year. It wasn't even close. He actually did finish worse than I thought he would. I said he was having his best year three games ago, when the team was 8-5. YOU- not me- kept this argument running, because you always have to be right. Guess what? You're not. What do you want me to "admit" about Tebow? I never said he was a great QB. I repeatedly said he was around the tenth best in the league- and only that high because of injuries to several other starters. I said he wins games. He went 7-4 this year. Nothing I said was wrong. -EK

You called Tim Tebow a, and I quote,....."a one in a million talent"

Don't back-peddle now

Dude, EVERY person that plays in the NFL is a one in a million talent. This is what I mean when I said you're being dense. Perhaps you missed my previous post in the Tebow thread. There's 7 BILLION people on the planet. How many of them make it to the NFL? Now how many of those guys are QBs? And of that, how many start? That's the very definition of one in a million. If I meant he was a one in a million QB I would have said that, not one in a million talent. Fail again.

As long as we're pointing out your mistakes, riddle me this- since your entire argument about Sanchez having his worst year was based on their record and not making the playoffs, completely disregarding stats, and since you brought Tebow up, by your logic, I guess Tebow had a better year at QB than Sanchez? He had a better record as a starter and made the playoffs, so I guess that MUST be what you're saying. Just like MJD leading the league in rushing and LeSean leading the NFC. Career years for those guys, but since their teams didn't win and didn't make the post-season, guess they had the worst years of their careers. That's the logical conclusion derived from your arguments. What say thee? Inquiring minds are dying to know. -EK

This is a legendary copout.

How come I've never heard you describe Marc Columbo as a one-in-a-million talent?  Benny Sapp?  John Beck?  They're all NFL players too, and there's SEVEN BILLION!!1! people on the planet.

Have the courage to own up to your statements.  When you talk about an NFL player being a one-in-a-million talent, it's obvious that the context is not one-in-one-million-overweight-housewives.
