The sad part of it all when New England destroys them in Foxboro all of Tebow's apologists will just claim they lost to a Superbowl contender in the Pats in their stadium.  Had it not been for Tebow they would have never made it that far to begin with.

Let the offseason Tebow blow-fest begin.

On a side note, watch the game winning throw in overtime and tell me that isn't the worst mechanincs you've seen from a player on a highlight reel.  Tebow looked like I do when I try throwing with my non dominant hand.

Assuming that happens.  And I hope it does.  Then both those statements would be true.  1. The game will be played in Foxboro and the Patriots as the #1 seed in the AFC has to be considered a superbowl contender.

2. They would never have gotten to the playoffs w/o Tebow. With Orton they were 1-4, with Tebow they were 7-4.  While neither Tebow nor Matt Moore are in the same class of QB as Brady, they do share this with him.  All three took over a losing team and made it significantly better.  Bledsoe 0-2, Brady 11-3, Orton 1-4, Tebow 7-4, Henne 0-4 Moore 6-6.  If you only change one player and the team starts winning, then there is something good about that player or bad about the ex-starter.

^ So how does that work with the same player?  Phillip Rivers was 4-1 to start the season then 0-7 and then finished 4-1.

Had they made it into the playoffs would it be because of him?  Would they had made it as far as the Broncos by beating an aging / injured Steelers' team all because of Rivers and his ugly ass overtime pass?

BTW week 17's score of 7-3 shows Orton > Tebow ... 60 yards passing, WTF?!

Let's not get carried away with 7-4 either.  They were a frog's ass hair away from being 2-9 in that span.

Was there a starting player or two that was injured for the 0-7 stretch?  If so, we can say that they player is signficantly better than his back up.

Do I think Tebow is an ok guy?  Yeah.  But he's not coming over to my house to fuck my sister so that's kind of a luxury.  He might be a total dick in person I don't know.  How's he going to react the first time the moonshine jar gets opened?  It's not like he's paying my rent either is it?  Does he flip out when the Skoal can gets cracked open or praise me for being in a stable 5 year marriage?  Does he shit his pants because there's a loaded .357 under the bed in case somebody breaks in?  Can he handle my wife's cooking or is he one of those people who has to have his own private chef?  These are all questions one would need to consider before you decide whether you like someone or not.
