Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots - Sunday, 3:00 PM ET

New York Giants @ San Francisco 49ers - Sunday, 6:30 PM ET

Predictions, projections and general ramblings...post 'em here.

~

Patriots over the Ravens, 27-20
An ugly win is still a win...and this one is as ugly as a Steve Buscemi - Renée Zellweger lovechild.

49ers over the Giants, 31-23
49ers sack Eli Manning 5 times, cause 4 turnovers and never trail in this game.

Patriots + Giants

Both teams peaked at the right time.

After watching last week's SF-NO matchup, I have a hard time believing that the 49ers aren't peaking at this point as well... It was the best team performance I've seen from my beloved Niners since Steve Young was under center.

Ravens and Niners.

The Patsies have lost to every tough opponent they have faced this season.  As well as Buffalo.  Wins over the Chiefs, Raiders, Dolphins, Eagles, Colts, Redskins, and others don't make you a great team.  Every time they've been tested, they've failed.

The Giants are frauds.  The Niners defense is WAY better than the Packers, and there won't be random hail mary passes at the end of the half.

But it's still the Patriots and the play-offs. I think you still have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I say it'll be a rematch, the Patriots vs the Giants, but I'd love to see the Ravens vs the 49ers.

I want to see a Niners/Ravens Superbowl.....

But my gut is telling me it will be the Pats/Giants.

Its easy to say rematch.  Its unlikely that it will happen.

I feel strongly that the Pats will lose.

Brian, I'm pretty sure you didn't read my post.
you're right - So many people have been saying "rematch of 2007" that I didn't bother paying attention to the numbers.
