Ravens vs 49ers.

Just to hear the 4 letter network debate. Who's more elite? Flacco or Smith. It ist a quarterback driven league after all.

My prediction in my original post is my hope as well. I want to see a 49ers-Patriots Super Bowl really bad.

The young ferocious Niners defense vs Brady and the mighty Tight E's...
The Hooded Evil One vs this year's NFL Coach of the Year...
Alex-Gore-Davis-Crabdiva against an NAIA-caliber defense...

Break out the beer and nachos, baby...that would be a SB worth watching!

But first, the Giants.  GO NINERS!!

These are 2 tough games to call.

I see the NFC game literally as a toss up.

On the AFC side I find it tough to see Cam Cameron in a Super Bowl even as an assistant and he has been terrible this year calling that offense. And I am not sold on Flacco being anything special anymore, I have soured on him. With that said the Pats defense could stink the place up which they have been known to do.

For gambling purposes I would probably take the points in both games but I don't even feel strongly about it. Really 2 games to avoid from a betting standpoint.

I'm rooting for an all Harbaugh family Superbowl.

I think the Ravens should have gone for it because when you play the Patriots, you need all the points you can get.

I predict the turning point of this game will be the first drive of the second half.

the pats are going to end up rolling big time in the 2nd half - that's just what they do.  nobody adjusts better at halftime than belichik.  those 2 TE's just cannot be covered.

Well, it looks like my prediction is coming true.  The Ravens need to keep the Patriots out of the endzone here.

I told ya its the pats and the playoffs. Things just go their way. A missed 20 yard field goal and a dropped touchdown pass?

The Ravens should have gone for it.  They needed a TD on that drive because they weren't winning that game if it went into OT.

Cam Cameron lost that game along with Harbaugh. 3rd and 3 and you RUN out of the shotgun? Seriously? Then Harbaugh goes for it on 4th and 6 and doesn't try a long field goal to tie it?

Shows no confidence in your kicker. Then when you call on your kicker for a chippy 32 yarder, well that's what you get.

Cam and Harbaugh lost that game for them. Took it out of the players hands with terrible decisions.

Wrong.  The refs screwed up this game.  Calling defensive holding on a pick by the Ravens early on was bad enough.  That was incidental contact.  But denying Lee Evans a touchdown late in the game was inexcusable.  He caught that ball and took two steps before the ball was knocked out of his hands.

That was NOT a touchdown by Lee Evans. The refs have been consistent calling that all year. Must have possession through the play on touchdowns, Evans hardly had the ball in his hands. The Ravens choked plain and simple.
