Seriously, let's not go there.  Remember the first half catch by the Patriots that wasn't challenged?  The Ravens lost fair and square.  They chickened out and choked.

Ted Ginn would have come in handy.  Kyle Williams is the goat in today's game.

One of the better games played.

The two teams with the better offenses won today.

That's the long and short of it for sure.  It was the difference in the game for multiple reasons.

Funny how the teams with the better offenses won, yet it still came down to defense & special teams.

Cam Cameron lost that game along with Harbaugh. 3rd and 3 and you RUN out of the shotgun? Seriously? Then Harbaugh goes for it on 4th and 6 and doesn't try a long field goal to tie it?

Shows no confidence in your kicker. Then when you call on your kicker for a chippy 32 yarder, well that's what you get.
The passed opportunity for a field goal on 4th-and-6 would have been a 50-yarder; Cundiff is 1 for 10 lifetime on kicks of 50+ yards.  A decision by Harbaugh to attempt a 50-yarder would have effectively been him giving up on the game and picking a scapegoat to blame for the loss.

I edited my last post because I said the wrong Williams.  I was thinking of Kevin Williams' fumble in the 1994 NFC championship when I typed my previous post.

Yes...I really don't like the Giants, but I want to see a 43-3 beat-down that cripples the Pats forever.

That was NOT a touchdown by Lee Evans. The refs have been consistent calling that all year. Must have possession through the play on touchdowns, Evans hardly had the ball in his hands. The Ravens choked plain and simple.
Actually it was VERY close to a TD. Evans did not drop the pass, it was knocked out of his hands after the catch so he doesn't have to maintain possession throughout the catch, however he does have to touch down with both feet in the endzone prior to the ball being knocked out for it to be a TD and it was VERY close. Just before the 2nd foot comes down the ball is knocked out, but it's like a split second. I think the call was right, but it was much closer than you are insinuating. Give NE's DB credit. That was not a choke, that was an extremely well timed swat of the ball by the DB.

The kick is another story.

Hold Williams down with a bed sheet, I'll get the soap and socks.

I do find it hilarious that the 49er fans, when -2 in turnover ratio, are screaming endlessly about how SF lost the game (NYG didn't win it) and the Giants are sooooo lucky.  Yet the week before, when they were +4 in turnover ratio and won on a last second TD, well, that was just the better team winning!

The "fumble" on the punt when it his knew wasn't lucky.  It was utter stupidity on behalf of the 49rs player.
