Yeah, that offensive line that led to the leading rusher in the league and gave up fewer sacks (44) than Miami's (52) is going to give him real problems. Plus, they just signed Laurent Robinson. He's in a better situation there than he was in Miami. -EK

I've actually found myself thinking I will watch them this year. I usually have a hard time doing this since they pushed the Dolphins off of tv here in Orlando.  Oddly for the first time I actually like some of the things they are doing in Jax including Henne.

Sometimes, things that get reported about what a public figure says are done so without any context. That can significantly alter the perception of how it is received, which is exactly what happened to Jaguars owner Shahid Khan in the aftermath of coach Mike Mularkey's introductory news conference.

Khan, in both an attempt at humor and to be complimentary of season-ticket holders, did say: "For me, a fan is somebody who's a season-ticket holder for the Jaguars." Many took it as a slap against fans who don't own season tickets, which is a ridiculous notion since Khan obviously wants to market his product to folks that are on the fence or ambivalent about spending money on tickets.

The comment did draw some laughter, but more importantly, it was said in response to a question about whether he thought Mularkey's hire would create a splash with fans. It's not as if Khan made the remark in a prepared statement. He just worded an answer awkwardly, and it's understandable that some fans took it the wrong way.
