What is ridiculous about it? The team needs to sign another QB. Flynn isn't a given so another one needs to be signed.

The ridiculousness is that this is how far this team has fallen.  They can't even sign a backup quarterback or a caretaker starting quarterback.  They have to turn to a washed up quarterback who turned the team down last year.

I'd have to agree it's gotten pretty crazy that this team can't seem to sign the best people, even those who are interested it would appear.

It's not that they CAN'T sign a Quarterback, it's that they WON'T sign a QB. Flynn was theirs and for some reason they got cheap. So, now they are left with total garbage.

We are going to have a QB that gets paid less than our kicker.

I was a fan of his in Jacksonville and well ... that didn't work out too well. I really don't see him doing well at this point in his career.

Or they just decided he wasn't much better than Moore. There's a lot of people that AREN'T desperate for a franchise QB that think Moore is just as good. Dolphins fans are so desperate for a QB to save the franchise they have lost all perspective.  Manning was the ONLY QB worth pursuing. I'm actually glad they didn't sign Flynn. He didn't deserve what he got. A year from now Seattle will be wondering whether to drop him and his salary just like Kolb this year.

You know ... considering what's left Flynn was the best option by far. He was an unknown that has outthrown every single Green Bay QB that has ever played. Flynn threw for a franchise-record 480 yards and a franchise-best six touchdown for Green freaking Bay.  I'm not saying he is Dan Marino but his audition tape is better than any other back up QB out there!! He at least deserves a shot if you have nothing better and even 10 million a year isn't a lot.

I bet when all is said and done you will see that coach was overruled.

Pappy13 gets it.  You all write down the date/time of this post.  Flynn will do NOTHING in Seattle.  Sure, he'll have some great games here and there, and there will be some crappy games mixed in as well.  He DOES NOT deserve the money he was commanding.  You don't sell the farm on an unknown commodity.
