WOW! The one-in-a-million talent is going to back-up the guy coming off his best year ever when he had 20+ turnovers total last season.

The league hasn't seen a righty-lefty QB tandem like this since Montana-Young!

All of a sudden Moore/Gararrd isn't looking so bad...lol. Sparano back to his wildcat roots. I wonder if he can talk the Jets into giving us their 3rd round pick in return for Carpenter. He can then have his favorite FG kicker to fist pump too as well in the swamps of New Jersey!

Wow, Mike. You truly have a gift for sarcasm.

So am I going to hell for hating the Jets now?

But if we lose Carpenter, how are we going to score?

The good news is the Jets now have two sucky QBs. The bad news, I can just see them beating us with some kind of fourth quarter bullshit Wildcat play from Tebow.

Just like the Broncos did? I don't know if that's going to happen or not, but a good measuring stick of what the offseason did will not be the numerous "Miami sucks because they didn't get a QB," but instead how much the defense improves its fourth quarter play with the additions and subtractions as well as the ne scheme. If the team can close out games on that side of the ball, Philbin's offense doesn't need to drop the kinds of numbers they did in GB. And yes, I realize he's the coach not the OC, but he's the one implementing the new system. -EK

With Tebow going to the Jets, is there anyone that doesn't think that Pat White was a Sparano pick now?  He loves these types of QB's and is convinced he can win with them. Good luck with that Tony.  Evil

Tebow won last year when everyone said he couldn't.  I wouldn't want him to be our QB for obvious reasons but I also would never count him out until he is out. It's not like he was the favorite in any of his other victories.

His arrival has already divided the lockeroom in New York.  As expected. This is great!

How did a Tebow post get turned into bashing the Dolphins defense?? LOL LOL  But to answer, actually no its the QB and the offense that is all that matters next season. The defense being at the top in league in fewest points allowed (6th) isn't a huge issue facing this franchise currently. Especially with its core coming back in tact. It's all on the offense and actually converting in the redzone and NOT settling for field goals.

It's about the offense not turning the ball over on the 2 yard line like vs Dallas or inside the 20 like vs NE and Philly and losing games for the team.Matt Moore must protect the ball and not LOSE games for us. Or like in the Giants game where he led the team to a LOSS  with a  4th quarter to forget. Leading the offense to a whopping 4 yards and 1 fist down the ENTIRE 4th quarter and hung the defense out to dry.

If Moore is the starting QB in 2012, Miami ain't winning more than 6-8 games again probably. And it has nothing to do with the defense, Miami's defense is light years better than the Packers, Pats, Giants, and some of the other elite teams last year. They just don't have an offense anywhere in the same solar system as those teams.

I hope Cromartie and Tebow "room together" on the road! lol

Talk about an odd couple!

Even better. He rooms with Santonio Holmes. They strike up quite the friendship. Thus, by week 3 Santonio demands that Tebow become the starting QB. Oh the media shit storm that would ensue.

It has EVERYTHING to do with defense. I get that, for some reason, you truly and honestly believe that being 6th in points allowed is some sort of achievement when your team as a whole goes 6-10. I wish you'd stop spouting that stat wihtout the entire perspective though. They might have been 6th in the league, but in the fourth quarter, they were 27th overall, and dead last in the AFC, That's freaking HORRIBLE. 27th? Are you kidding me? If the defense was truly as good as you keep wanting them to be, they'd allow a field goal once in a while and not give up an average of over a TD in every game in the fourth. Blame the offense for field position all you want, but the D is what should be keeping people out of the end zone at least once in a while. -EK
