Dolphins announced a "slight change" to the LOGO next year in 2013

Any idea what that means?

In the past, the slight logo changes have been little tweaks to the ratio of size between the dolphin and the sun.  The updated, cleaner logo introduced in the 90s was the largest cahnge, and one that I thought was needed.

I'm guessing that we're talking about making the Dolphin "meaner?"  Angry eyes, like Mr. Potato Head, perhaps???

LOL. Maybe he'll be using his rear flipper to kick a field goal.

I saw one model recently of removing the sun burst the Dolphin is jumping through and placing the sun burst orange things around the top of the visor so to speak. Coming up almost like orange shark teeth. It wasn't an awful look in reality. I might not be doing it justice describing it. Might be something along those lines but I would consider that more than a slight change. Who knows.

Has anyone ever had the "No, Ray Finkle is not a real kicker" conversation with someone?

Not the color, but they could do something like this. Imagine that logo on a white helmet. I think it will be something along those lines.

I'm all for changing the primary color to blue like that.  There's nothing manly about teal lol

They need to just leave it the hell alone. Not everything on this planet needs to change.

^^  I like it too, but maybe have orange numbers with a teal trim?  The teal on blue is too dark imo

another thing they could do is take the helmet off the dolphin. I would actually be in favor of that

I've always wondered if they could make the helmet like the one Flipper is wearing...all white with an orange M on it.
It would look very college, and I'm totally fine with that.  I think it would look great with the all white scheme at home.

I don't mind any of the change ups, as long as they are only "special occasion" type deals.  I LOVE the Dolphins color scheme and unis and don't want them to change.  However, I don't like the dolphin on the blue helmet because it looks like he's humping the damn ball.  As randy as dolphins are in the wild, perhaps it is appropriate, though. the blue helmet is not going to happen. That is just a NIKE mock up for a 1 time deal which the team isn't doing, they shot that down.

But the logo on that helmet they might keep. Just picture it on the white helmet.

Another "possible" look would be to make the Dolphin gray (a normal color of a Dolphin) and remove the helmet off it. That might also be a good look.

But the whole blue uni and helmet is not going to happen. I just showed it to show the "logo" on that helmet and how it is a slight change from our current logo
