What's the worst advise you've given someone? and what happened?

For me any advise I've given to some guy about women...Horrible...It's wrong,I suggest Zig,they should have Zagged....

Trying to get away with something advise,always seems to bite me in the ass...Some of the bad ones for me,are when a buddy gets in trouble,even when I think I've got all the bases covered..

Girlfriend warns don't go to the strip club,because you'll smell like stale beer,smoke,and umm...Sweaty dancers....For whatever reason...Go to the strip club,every thing worked out great,then find out like the Gf's Brother was the doorman,or she works with a guy that sees us there.....and rats us out,and they get in trouble......It's one of those you've got to be shitting me moments...

Buddy's wife says you better not be heading to the lake this weekend...Break down on the way home from the lake with the boat attached to the truck...busted..

I always give good advice.

The worst advice is the advice that I choose not to give.  I see people entering into unhealthy relationships and I just let it happen, because I don't want to get involved.  I also give a lot of advice that people ignore and they end up in a shitty situation.  But I work with a lot of people who seek out unhealthy relationships and allow themselves to get manipulated and lied to, so it's not like I'm a therapist -- the advice is kinda "duh".
