Although I have been critical of Miami waiting so late to draft a WR, the more I see about this guy, the more he seems like a good fit for a WCO. His big knocks are that he has small hands and doesn't possess tremendous speed (4.59 40), but he put up really good numbers at a school that doesn't throw much and from what I've read, runs great routes, and catches the ball well in coverage. At 223, he's a big receiver, so am I just getting my hopes up for nothing or is he a gem in the rough? -EK

He and Fuller are both big strong receivers that have the same knocks... they don't have long speed but they both make plays!  They are in the mold of receiver like Brandon Marshall big strong guys that don't have blazing speed but still get YAC and are tough to bring down especially one on one.

I don't know anything about Cunningham, so I went to YouTube and watched a few highlight reels.  I like what I saw.  Tough catches in traffic, seems to have very good hands.  I've seen him drag tacklers for a first down, but I also saw him drop some balls in coverage.  I guess it happens.  I gotta say he reminds me of a young David Boston.  Before he got all 'roided up, of course.

All of the guys could be clones of each other. Big, Strong, good hands, good route runners, productive at the college level, etc. I'm talking Egnew, Cunningham, Matthews and Fuller. I think they all played in west coast offenses as well. I believe you can see hightlights of all of them on youtube.
