News 1: Arrested Development, quite possibly my favorite show of all time, was cancelled prematurely.  I didn't discover it until after it was already off the air.  It's coming back.  A new season is coming to Netflix, to be released all at once.   But it's the same cast, the same style, the same show...just more of it.

News 2: They are in talks to do the same thing for Jericho, which I think some of you (Stroke?) liked a lot.

So, what other shows would you like to see revived that got canned to quickly?

I would enjoy more Firefly.

I'm a little torn here, while I admit, there are shows that I liked that have been canceled maybe too early.I also wonder if they were revived, would I still be interested as I was when they were on...

My other problem is Netflix is dead to me...I don't see how releasing the whole seson all at once makes sense from a netflix sense...Get a Netflix free trial watch the whole season in the trial period, don't subscribe...If they released an episode a week, kind of need a subscription for a few months...

I feel more shows, changed what they were leading to them being killed off...Season 1 was great, season 2 blah (possibly cut because of low ratings),3rd season cut short because it was bad...Example BBC America's Being human,Loved season 1,season two ok...This season un watchable...

Enough hijackng I'm Sorry...but it does lead somewhere...

Pushing Daisies - ended in 2009 -Would be the show I'd love for them to bring back,I loved the cast, over the top stories, sets, and everything about it...It was cool...Back to my hijack,a lot of that cast is on other shows, and movies now...I think for this show,EVERY-thing, the set decorators, directors, most of the behind the scenes people are important for a show like this...

The Black Donnelly's.  The series followed four young Irish brothers in a New York City neighborhood and their involvement with petty and organized crime and the tension between the Irish and Italians    NBC pulled it after only a few episodes presumably because it didn't have enough viewers.  I was really pissed.  This was a really good show.  A nice break from the typical crime drama.  I read that NBC streamed the remaining episodes and it became 2nd in shows streamed off the website. The number number one streamed show was Heroes

Another one: Freaks and Geeks

Only lasted 1 season.  Every person went on to be famous in other things.  And it's from Judd Apatow, who made so many famous comedies since then.  Good show.

Freaks and geeks, and Party down were both shows I liked, had some cross over people involved...

IFC or Sundance was running freaks and geeks every Friday night,I watched a few of them....
------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, I love Netflix. I have a HUGE instant queue. Why does everyone hate it?
They ran all my local Blockbusters out of town, then thought We'll split the services, change our prices,etc,etc....Their service for me isn't worth the money.I did watch a lot of shows and stuff I might not have without Netflix.Even some of the shows I did watch,I'd have to rent a DVD to get the Entire season/specials etc...

The Streaming service has basic cable movies (especially now that Stars is gone),and tons of T.V. shows. For me not worth $8 a month.

I mainly want to see the Newer release movies,I don't got to movie theaters. Then started making me wait longer to get new releases, and earlier this year bumped (Warner Brothers movies I THINK it was ) from a 28 day waiting period,to 56 days waiting period...I would pay about $16.13 for 2 Blu rays at a time, most of the time I'd rent stuff I really didn't want to see,but had to justify the cost. The Movies I did generally want to see would be "Very Long Wait" on top of the already 28 day waiting period...

I got Redbox $1.61 a night movie Blu-ray rentals.I only pay for what I want to see,and I've Already saved about $20 in 2 months

End Rant...
--------------------------------------------

I have to admit, alot of shows that keep going through my head, had long runs, but I still love them.More than the ones that got cut too short...

Cupid the one from the 1990's with Jeremy Piven, and Paula Marshal,They already brought it back with different actors and F'd it up...

Sportsnight -Another one I just thought of that  liked, had kind of an all star cast looking back now

thought of another one!...
The P.J.'s -Eddie Murphy animated series about Thurgood Stubbs the superintendent "Super" of a building in the projects...I really liked this show also...

Because on many shows and movies, their selection sucked. Also their streaming selection was not updated quickly.

I guess since I don't watch a lot of regular tv or movies I find a ton of stuff on Netflix. In the past few months I've watched The IT Crowd, My Boys, Dr. Who, Downton Abbey, Spaced, Eureka, and a shit ton of movies. Well worth my $8.

I went to high school with a guy from The Black Donnelly's.

Can someone with Netflix check and see if Boston Legal is available for streaming?
