That EVERY coach that goes to the Jets tries to act like Rex Ryan and talk like a big shot? Like some druged up pro wrestler acting phony tough!

Miami's o-line coach the past few years DeGuglielmo (who was terrible for us) went to the Jets with Sparano to take the same job. And is now giving quotes like this to the media...

DeGuglielmo, who spent the past three seasons as the offensive line coach under Tony Sparano in Miami, left little doubt that he’s not concerned about following respected offensive line coach Bill Callahan.

“The difference between me and Bill is I have a Super Bowl ring and he doesn’t,” said DeGuglielmo, who was the assistant offensive line coach on the Giants’ Super Bowl XLII winning coaching staff. “I’m not worried about the ghosts of Bill Callahan.”

Generally it is a smart idea to do what your boss wants if you wish to remain employed.

None of the coaches (or even players) that report to Bill Belichick talk smack because he is the boss and that is what he wants.  (Wes Welker was punished for making a series of foot jokes)

On the other hand, Rex Ryan encourages bravado and trash talking and his minions follow his lead.

Who cares?  They'll miss the playoffs again, Ryan will probably be over with and the Jets will continue being irrelevant.

Now you'll see how good Henne was compared to Sanchez.  Because they'll have run the exact same offense.

I agree completely. Love him or hate him, Bellichick has control over his staff and players and you have to respect that. As a Fin fan I hope Philpin can bring that attitude back to Miami.

JP has already gotten rid of wife beater Merling and loud mouth Brandon Marshall. That is a good start.

The other part of the problem is what seems to be every sportscaster in the country wanting desperately to make this franchise relevant again.

They were relevant for a year sometime around the early '70s.
