Dolphster, while I assume you are probably making a correct assumption, I just want to point out that no one has made mention of the financial statuses of the mothers. No one has said tax payer money is going to any of these children. The father cannot afford his payments, but no one said the mothers collect welfare or any type government of assistance.

The sterilization talk is hilarious.  So if I'm Travis Henry or Antonio Cromartie (i.e. rich) and I have a dozen kids, it's "play on, playa," but if I'm poor, it's a government-mandated vasectomy for me?  Tell me, what is the exact threshold of cost-to-the-government where the state is justified in stepping in and forcing me to undergo surgery to stop the fiscal bleeding?

Given that the total cost to the government for this guy's 30 kids is, at most, in the 8 digit range, what kind of punishment can we expect to see meted out to the banksters that looted taxpayers for trillions?  Oh wait, they're rich, so it's OK.

Women have all the power.  They choose not to use it properly.  Then, you have idiots like this running around with 30 kids.

What I mean by that is that if women demanded men to be nice, respectful, and have their shit together, guys would do it.  Instead, so many of you are lining up to bang total friggin' idiots who treat you like shit.  And you do it over and over and over.

I would almost guarantee you that he targets very specific women. Could he pull that shit on a woman that's got her shit together?  No. Could he pull that on a 17 year old or a woman with low self-esteem and daddy issues? You better believe it. Further, many men know exactly what to look for.

There are many, many women without power.

I wouldn't touch this guy with a 10 foot pole. However, I likely have FAR more options than the women that he pursues. (Unless they just wanted a sperm donor. In which case, carry on.)

Typical B.S.. Every time I have seen this posted, women are lambasting this guy. This post explains why this happens. These poor women are victims and it is all the bad man's fault. It takes two to tango, and they kept taking him back time and time again...even though they had already had kids with him and he could not pay. But yeah it is only the guys fault.

Uhm...I did not say that. I just pointed out that women don't always have all of this alleged power.

I will say that when it comes to pregnancy, women have about 90% of the power.

Both men and women have the option to be abstinent, or to use protection.  But beyond that, women have many, many available options for birth control beforehand (pill, shot, IUD, etc), as well as after-the-fact options like Plan B, abortion, or adoption.  All of which can be done pretty much unilaterally.

I can tell you that if there were a male equivalent of the pill or the shot, unwanted pregnancy rates would fall through the floor (STD rates would probably increase, but whatevs).  IMHO, most women that get pregnant do so with a fairly high amount of intent (if not direct, then indirect).

I am of the opinion that child birth should be limited to a set number of children per female. We have a limited amount of resources and overpopulation will become an issue eventually. This would also limit the exploitation of the free handout system, ummm I mean welfare system.......

I would NEVER trust a man that said he was on the pill. Period.

Long ago (not sure if they still do) the Chinese government mandated no more than 2 children per household due to overpopulation.

Maybe its a myth though...?
