unreal. out with one headcase in with another. I knew this was coming when he married that wack job reality show lady.

Im not saying we should cut him over this, but if Philbin did I wouldn't be mad!

Hopefully something written in his contract that we can cut this POS and not have to pay him any money or count against the cap space.

Really, I was hoping CJ would come in and at least add some nice depth to the WR corps and maybe resurrect his career, but that looks like it's not going to happen.

Plaxico Burress is out there. Cut Chad and bring in Plax?

Not that Plax is any saint by any means but it would be a way to push Chad out the door and replace him at the same time.

Maybe Chad missed this TV commercial while playing FIFA

Somebody needs to sacrifice a chicken quick! First Garrard goes down with a mysterious knee injury. Now this. Really? Pretty soon someone is going to ask Chad, "How do you get fired in your day off?"

If Philbin has any balls, he gets rid of Ocho Stinko and promotes either Julius Pruitt or Roberto Wallace.

Little breakdown of the Fins in recent years and it's no wonder why this team has been horrible and the franchise is going through the worst stretch in it's history. This is just in the last 6 years going back to 2006!

Chad Johnson Domestic Violence for head-butting his wife
Tony McDaniel Domestic Violence for attacking his wife in his driveway
Philip Merling Domestic Violence for beating up his pregnant girlfriend
Brandon Marshall Domestic Violence, arrested for refusing to pay cab driver, stabbed by wife, among 50 other things
Ronnie Brown DUI in Georgia driving on the wrong side of the road
Will Allen DUI for being passed out behind the wheel at a red light
Ricky Williams, quits to smoke dope, returns only to fail another drug test
Koa Misi arrested on battery charges
Regan Mauia arrested on battery charges
Matt Roth arrested for public intoxication
Joey Porter arrested for Drunk Driving (arrested just before and just after he was a member of the Fins as well)
Keith Traylor arrested for DUI, got in a fight with Vernon Carey and was kicked off the team
Kelly Campbell arrested on drug charges
Chris Chambers arrested for DUI
Fred Evans arrested for battery and resisting arrest

Like I said, it's no wonder why this franchise has been miserable for a very long time. CHARACTER COUNTS!

when I heard the news last night I was like keep him, cut him who cares. Even before this happened last night I didn't think he was a lock to make this team anyway. After waking up this morning and seeing the aftermath of this arrest and how much national attention it is getting there is no doubt that Chad needs to be cut. For many reasons.

1) Chad has put Joe Philbin in an impossible spot. If Philbin cuts Chad he is hurting his team and no coach wants to hurt their team for something that happened off the field. But, If Philbin keeps Chad it makes Philbin look like a fool as he just said on Hard Knocks we can't have guys representing the organization in a bad light. If Philbin keeps him then Philbin comes off as weak and someone who talks the talks but won't walk the walk. Coming off weak as a rookie head coach is not good. Nobody, players especially, will respect him going forward

2) This WR group is considered "bad" with Chad Johnson. Would it be any worse without him in reality? Seriously. Cut ties with the "drama" and send him on his way.

3) If you keep Chad it's only going to get much much worse. He and his Crazy Wife have a reality show starting on Sep 3rd on VH1 (it's already taped, they are going to air it). With this news I am sure ratings will be through the roof and he along with this teammates and coaches are going to be asked questions on him all year if he is on this team.  It will be a year long distraction.

He's gotta go!

You forgot to put Randy McMichael in there.  He beat his pregnant wife and threw her stuff out of their car when they were in the parking lot of a Waffle House.

Excellent points.  He's way past his prime and just trying to hang on.  Give one of the youngn's a chance.

Forgot about Randy. But technically he wouldn't have made the list anyway beacuse McMichael's arrest was in 2004. My list just went back to 2006.

Chad was released on $2,500 bond. Could be out in time for the Fins 1pm practice. lol...that's if he is still on the team by then.

Should be a very interesting day in Davie!
