Just curious...I have bounced in and out of this site for over a year now and I don't think the homepage has ever changed. Why is it never updated? Ditto for the news. If you can't keep it at current, why have it?

^^^ It's a simple question. I'm sure he'd use it more if it was updated. I've wondered it for a while but I never used the site except for the forums.

I don't even go to the home page. I just have the forums page bookmarked. A shoutbox would be cool at the top. BTW, does anyone know if there is a way to change the default color from white to something not as bright as a user. A few other forums I used to be a member of had that option.

There's an extension for that Wink

Firefox has "Color that site", which does the job very well.

Best option in Chrome might be "Change Colors", but it doesn't work quite as well.

If you're a bit more hardcore, you could use something like GreaseMonkey (TamperMonkey in Chrome).

I have to agree with Fins4Ever.  Updating the front page of a site makes it more attractive to users.  Posting an ad for an event that transpired seven months ago is not good business.

I know I have the forums set so there are no AVATAR's and pictures and such. I keep it as simple text. Not sure if you can change the colors though.

Hmm, i for the longest time i have never visit the home page.  I go str8 to the forums. with that being said, i wondered what happen to the GOAT trailer and the HALL OF SHAME.

I visit the main page from time to time. Best part of the site is the top banner I feel. Makes me laugh every time I see Wanny with his head in his hands! lol

No one really updates the front page.  This is not a news site, but we do have news feeds there.  They should update automatically.

We are in discussions to make the front page more useful and working on figuring out how to make the best use of that space.  Most likely once the season starts you may start to see more stuff there.  Stay tuned.

The site is mostly message board.  I use the home page for big announcements.  The news is supposed to update automatically, but something is wrong with the feed.

We still do Goat Trailer each week.  Also, we haven't done Ring of Dishonor in a long, long time, but the idea is still there.
