That is true, I am more worried about losing in the playoffs than not making the playoffs.

Pats also should have the #1 seed and home field locked up fairly early this year. Weak AFC East this year. You get a terrible NFC West and AFC South. This is a year where the Pats go 14-2 or 15-1 most likely. Minus any major injuries of course.

STIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLL avoiding the Carr comment?
That is a statement that is made by someone who clearly doesn't watch college football and is laughable to those that follow the college game. David Carr played at Fresno and his best year was like 2,500 yards and that was vs lesser competition than Tannehill got in the Big 12.
What a joke, Mike. Re. Simpson he's a stud because of what he can do on the field, and I believe he'll show it this year. The fact that he's considered a sleeper shows that at least a few NFL guys believe that he's got enough talent- even if he's suspended for 3 games- to make an impact.  At the end of the year, Simpson will have had a great year, so will Coples, and you'll still be ignoring the fact that 4800>2500 yards, and 51 TD's > 33TD's. -EK

As long as the o-line can do a better job on pass protection than they did last night against the Bucs.  I dare say that is the one weak link.  Both on a play by play basis, and because anytime they fail NEP risks that "major injury."   Otherwise the team is in great shape.

A weak oline might prevent ya from winning it all in Jan/Feb. It won't prevent ya from having a monster regular season though playing that cream puff schedule.

^^^ A weak o line and one good shot at the QB could end the dynasty.  Patriots aren't as dependant on Brady as the Colts were on Manning so I don't see us having a season so bad that we get the first pick overall.  But this oline could end NEP perenual dominance of the AFCE.

After three preseason games the Jets have tied the 1977 Atlanta Falcons in having scored zero touchdowns after three pre-season games.  Way to go Tony!!!

Expect a lot more fist pumping after field goals on the Jets sideline.

LMAO, as a Phins fan- but also a realist- I agree. Coples is everything I said he would be so far (8 tackles, 2 sacks, forced fumble in less than 4 qtrs of work)

Coples Week 1 stat line.  1 tackle!

Jets week one score (behind the fist pumping of Sparano): 48-28. Who's really getting the last laugh there? -EK

So Coples isn't the second coming of Lawernce Taylor as you said he is?

I'm talking Coples, not Jets.

Wait, wait, wait- by your own logic, it was only one game. Doesn't matter right? Come talk to me in December, right? Which is it- either you're wrong about Tannehill, and he DOES suck, which means Coples does to, or you can't evaluate after one game and in doing so with Coples you're a hypocrite. So... Let's hear the explanation here. -EK

"Brilliant" save. No one is going to buy that your initial post was sarcasm. Nice try. -EK
