I don't read anything into preseason games as you all know, so I take all results with a grain of salt. But man its fun listening the Jets fans flip out tonight on the car ride home listening to SIRIUS radio! I was having a good Saturday night and that just made it so much better!  If you think Miami fans hit the panic button last night tune into any radio station right now and Jets fans are calling in and flipping out big-time. In 2 preseason games the Jets have 3 field goals and no touchdowns. And the Jets had just 148 yards of total offense vs the Giants and they gave up 7 sacks. Oh yeah and Tebow couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a pass either. For all the extra work he puts in he still can't throw a football.

They won't be as bad as these preseason results obviously, but I never thought this group would be good.  Ground and pound with no RB, 2 shitty QB's, and a moron offensive coordinator ain't gonna fly this year when the games count for real. They will struggle to generate offense like Miami will this year. When the Jets put that sad offensive group together and began hiring guys recently fired because they failed in Miami (DeGugliemo, Sparano..etc) it was head scratching.

Dunno.  I think the Jests are going to be lucky to get 6 wins themselves.

Funny you mentioned that stuff about Tebow.  It looks like my prediction for him is coming along exactly as I said it would.  He is not an NFL quarterback by any means.

Easy- the Jets were 2 games better than Miami last year and they made a solid move to fix their worst offensive problem.

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!  My nose is burning!!!!!  I was drinking my coffee this morning and when I read this, I laughed so hard it came right out of my nose!!!!

Tim Tebow is a "solid move" to fix the Jets worst offensive problem??  There's delusion and then there's statements like this.

Their early season schedule is pretty tough. From Week 13 on it gets much easier though. They would need to hold the fort in the first 3 months and keep their head above water then hope to get to December in the thick of the wild card race to have a realistic shot.

Jets beat reporter this Sunday morning is reporting the Jets have reached out to Vernon Carey to help fix their o-line problems on the right side. But Vernon turned them down.

When you are resorting to adding EVERY Miami castoff that has failed miserably with the Fins and thinking that it will solve your problem you know you suck. Jets best option is to let Tebow baptize every player in holy water before each game then hold a rosary instead of a clipboard on a sideline. They are a bigger trainwreck than Miami.

But at least we know Cromartie won't be getting in any trouble like Chad Johnson did. Because Cromartie don't use no stinkin condoms! Can't get caught. Can't get in no domestic fights over it!

As a Pats fan I am more worried about the Jets than the fish.

LMAO, as a Phins fan- but also a realist- I agree. Coples is everything I said he would be so far (8 tackles, 2 sacks, forced fumble in less than 4 qtrs of work) and if they get through the first 6 weeks at .500 they'll be dangerous. Miami is still a year away. -EK

Coples is the next LT and Reggie White. He had 2 good preseason games   Roll Eyes

calling yourself a realist after you said Tebow is a Top 10 QB, Jermone Simpson is an elite WR, and Mark Sanchez had a career year is also very funny to many of us around here. Very funny!

Not saying much. Don't have to be worried about either honestly. Worry about Houston, Baltimore, and Pitt.

But be honest, you're really not worried about anyone in AFC East. Smiley

I'm not buying into the Bills hype either. They have to show me before I'll buy into it.

That is true, I am more worried about losing in the playoffs than not making the playoffs.

Saying that David Carr's best college season was around 2500 yards is even funnier (4830 yards and 51 total TD's in 2001- but his numbers aren't as good as Tannehill's? Even funnier). BTW, did you see Simpson hurdle ANOTHER guy last week?

Like it or not, the guy's a stud. -EK

Jerome Simpson...Not a stud WR, nor is he elite as you claimed. Sorry lol.

If he was a Stud/Elite Cincy wouldn't have let him go for nothing

Still ignoring the fact you were WRONG about Carr huh? Classy. Re. Simpson, even with him suspended 3 games, he's projected as a fantasy sleeper. Aren't you playing in the league here? You should consider drafting him. Waaaaaait- you'll probably take Tannehill and the Dolphins D ahead of Simpson right?  Roll Eyes -EK

So because Jerome Simpson is a fantasy sleeper he is an elite/stud NFL WR? I don't get the logic. The REAL NFL isn't fantasy football if that is how you judge and base many of your opinions off of it really explains a lot to many of us.
