He kept it somewhat vague but he is tweeting trade winds are blowing and they are talking about trading for an experienced veteran and willing to part with a high draft pick.

2 names pop to mind, MJD and Mike Wallace. With it probably being Wallace as I don't see Jax trading MJD inside the division but ya never know. It is Jax!

If Wallace goes to Indy for a 2nd rounder or less, fair or unfair Ireland will catch holy hell and  the media will be all over him for not making this move and getting it done.  And the media would be right.

You're right. Wallace is a young difference maker. What's Ireland's number?

If its Wallace, it'll be a 1st rounder, I'm sure.

Not sure. Gotta give up a 1st rounder AND pay the guy big bucks. What team wants to do that? Bad business.  I am thinking its a Brandon Marshall type deal when he was shipped from Denver to Miami. Two 2nd rounders. Or maybe a 2nd and a 3rd. Something like that

As much as I would be tempted to make that 1st rd trade, I couldn't go higher than a 2nd. We're going to need the 1st rd pick next season.

Especially if this team is as bad as the early returns suggest and lands a high draft pick.  Landing the top pick would be great because teams would pay a king's ransom to move up to draft Barkley

Personally, for the Dolphins I say No thank you.

The Dolphins need to hit on draft picks to rebuild, not trade them away for aging veterans.  That's what Rick Spielman did and we saw how that worked.

^^I'm not sure Irsay would even classify that as a "big trade".  Evil

Irsey is a drunk, who has less of a filter on his twitter account than Ochocinco.

Exactly. Why would Vonate be considered "big" by any means. He can't even beat out Richard Marshall for christ sakes. All I read on this board is how Miami's secondary sucks and can't cover anyone. Well, wouldn't that make Vonate part of the problem !!!!

Yet it would be a "big" trade?! Flawed logic!

I guess a large portion of the country has the same flawed logic.

The bleacher report? Really?

If Irsay thinks "Vonate" is a "BIG TRADE" he must be hitting the bottle again. Poor guy is off the wagon
