This just in from the TDMMC News Desk:

from Rich Campbell via Ben Volin:
Quote
Redskins are talking trade with the Dolphins; RB Steve Slaton for WR Anthony Armstrong, a source confirms

Nothing like dealing a backup RB for a WR that we had on the practice squad a few years ago.

What's Brock Berlin doing? Maybe he could return to be our back-up QB too.

Can't fault Ireland for this one.  Parcells was in charge of the roster then.  Armstrong does one thing that no recevier currently on the Dolphins roster does.  He gets open deep.

They guy was cut in 2009.  Other WR's:
Ginn, Bess, Camarillo, Hartline, Patrick Turner.

You could make a case of Armstrong over Turner, but he was a 2nd round pick, and teams rarely give up on 2nd round picks that soon.  I blame Parcells for picking him in the first place, personally.

He was a 3rd round pick, but same concept.  and I agree

Turner was a 3rd round pick. But same difference, you don't give up on those guys that early really
