Hoodie, care to comment? Doesn't this make Mallet the heir apparent now? Still no love for him?

I like Mallet. I was pissed when Miami took Thomas instead of him, and I would still not be surprised if he turns out to be a quality NFL QB. -EK

Wouldn't matter- Miami still doesn't have the talent on the field to beat NE, even if they had a copy of the playbook, lol. -EK

Not to mention their uncanny ability to rewrite the rule book. But I won't mention it.

I have nothing against Mallet.  But I do hope he never sees a meaningful down.

^^Now you have me confused. Do you mean you don't want him to play because that would mean that theres some reason that Brady can't or do you just not like the guy? I've seen you talk bad about him several times but then you say you don't have anything against him. Which is it? He obviously can play a little or they wouldn't have gotten rid of Hoyer.

I mean I don't want him to play because that would mean Brady was injured.  I have nothing against the guy.  I don't recall ever saying anything negitive about him.

Well there's the recent comments that you didn't want to see him play and then a couple of comments back when he was drafted in the 2nd round that I thought were less than flattering too. I understand that him starting would mean Brady is not, but still. Maybe I'm just being a bit sensitive to it because I thought the Dolphins should have tried to get him in the 2nd round instead of Thomas and hated seeing him go to New England, but it seems to have worked out for Miami OK since I'm happy that Tannehill is here now.

Those were pro-Brady.  Same reason you don't want to see Jake Long's back up play.

I don't recall those, nor being anti- the pick.  Although, I am not sure if NEP (or any team) should be using any pick above the 3rd round on a player projected to sit on the bench.
