Yes, I'd like to see some progress. I'd like to see some sign of football intelligence. I'd like to see some indication they are addressing the situation with the batted balls. I'd like to see a Game Plan. Kinda scary to think that's setting the bar too high. Right now you could put a Dolphin cap on a chimpanzee, stick him on the sideline, he'd have the same record as Joe Philbin. I hope that's not setting the bar too high -- to expect our Head Coach to post a better win-loss record than a chimpanzee.

Why are you assuming the chimp would lose his first game? Smiley

Who doesn't want to see these things? But to expect to see a complete overhaul of a team and franchise that has been horrible for a decade now in Week 1, in one game is silly. It was just 1 game. It will take time.

Okay we can reference hard nose coaches that have been successful and ones that have failed.

Here is the more challenging question:  Can you name one successful head coach that allowed his players to be late for team meetings and/or didn't give a shit about disciline?

Tom Flores, former Raiders coach.  From what I've heard, he was pretty lax on discipline.  While he did impose curfews and expect his guys to be on time for meetings, he didn't make a big deal on guys who were late, and was pretty lenient on missing curfews.  His players partied at all hours of the night when they were in town for their two Super Bowls that he coached.  And he won those two Super Bowls.

Steve Spurrior. Oh wait .... bad example!!  Cheesy

He was referencing Cameron as you know he hates him. The funniest part is I never thought of Cameron as being hard-nosed. Quite the opposite actually.

Getting offended by something you see on the internet is like choosing to step in dog shite instead of walking around it.

I never said Cameron was hard nosed, but he did nitpick at every detail.  And I don't hate him.  He just obviously wasn't cut out to be a head coach.  He's a great offensive coordinator and should stick to that.

At the very least the chimp probably would've had sense enough to keep Brandon Marshall and Vontae Davis
