We all know how Reggie Bush vowed to win the Rushing Title this year.  I figured I'd start a thread to follow where he stands in that goal.  Just for fun Smiley

Through Week 2

1. C.J. Spiller, BUF   29 CAR / 292 YARDS / 3 TD / 10.1 YPC
2. Reggie Bush, MIA   40 CAR / 241 YARDS /2 TD / 6.0 YPC
3. Marshawn Lynch, SEA   47 CAR / 207 YARDS / 1 TD / 4.4 YPC
4. Frank Gore, SF   33 CAR / 201 YARDS / 2 TD / 6.1 YPC
5. Stevan Ridley, NE   39 CAR / 196 YARDS / 1 TD / 5.0 YPC

Off to a pretty solid start!!

CJ Spiller is bound to fall apart.  Especially once Fred Jackson comes back.

If Reggie is still top-3 by week 12, I'll be impressed.

Agreed, it's obviously early but still I think it would be entertaining to keep track weekly and see how close (or far) he is towards the goal.

He also said he wanted to average 4 YPC.  So far, he's well above that.

After Week 3:

1. Jamaal Charles, KC   55 CAR / 323 YARDS / 1 TD / 5.9 YPC
2. Maurice Jones-Drew, JAX   59 CAR / 314 YARDS / 1 TD / 5.3 YPC
3. C.J. Spiller, BUF   33 CAR / 308 YARDS / 3 TD / 9.3 YPC
4. Marshawn Lynch, SEA   72 CAR / 305 YARDS / 1 TD / 4.2 YPC
5. Reggie Bush, MIA   50 CAR / 302 YARDS / 2 TD / 6.0 YPC

Reggie is questionable for next week, and CJ Spiller is doubtful.  Look for this to change

I am really impressed with the dedication and what Reggie has done since being in Miami. I hope he comes back quickly, but if RB wins the rushing title in a new WCO, we are in more trouble than I thought.

Or maybe we're just ahead late in games? Ahh, one can only dream Wink

He's 21 yards off the lead, considering Charles got 91 of his 323 on one busted play.  Not bad, let's hope he doesn't miss more time.

How does Spiller have that ridonkulous YPC?

When the Jets were up by 4 or 5 TD's in Week 1 and the game was over they let him run wild cause it didn't matter

he has had 3 or 4 runs over 50 yards, and he only played about 7 quarters.  That won't last.

Another great observation from Brian F. It is called an anomaly of statistics, an outlier if you like. A couple of games with 20 carries for 70-80 yds. will correct it, and you can be damn sure the Fins will deflate those numbers.

Sorry for the delay updating this.  Slipped my mind a little bit.

1. Marshawn Lynch, SEA   92 CAR / 423 YARDS / 2 TD / 4.6 YPC
2. Jamaal Charles, KC   72 CAR / 411 YARDS / 2 TD / 5.7 YPC
3. LeSean McCoy, PHI   81 CAR / 384 YARDS / 1 TD / 4.7 YPC
4. Arian Foster, HOU   103 CAR / 380 YDS / 4 TD / 3.7 YPC
5. Alfred Morris, WAS   82 CAR / 376 YARDS / 4 TD / 4.6 YPC
6. Reggie Bush, MIA  67 CAR/ 369 YARDS / 2 TD / 5.5 YPC

His health caused him to fall out of the top five, but I love the YPC average.  No reason he shouldn't climb back into it on that pace, plus regaining health.

Reggie could have a very big game this week if he is back to 100%. Cincy has had trouble with the run thus far
