#6 and down are VERY close...

I wish the Dolphins would stop trying end arounds once they've established that the opposing D just has too much speed on the outside. It's not like they're using them to set Bush up for some passing (which I also wouldn't mind seeing more of).

Hopefully, the "soft" fronts of the next 5 opponents will allow us (and Reggie) to rack up some yards.

Reggie in 12th, could be 13th if McGahee has over 58 yards tonight.  Still very close in the bottom half of the top 10

He isn't going to win the rushing title. He should finish Top 10 and if things break right he could finish Top 5.  As the games go on and the coaches get more comfortable with RT1 they will let him do more in the passing game I think and open things up more.

RT1

For the record, not a big fan of this.

LOL.....I didn't start it, but a lot of fans at the stadium are running with it as a "mock" of RGIII.

Just harmless fun

I don't think he will either.  Pretty much the only person that thought Reggie Bush could win the rushing title was Reggie Bush.  I think a top 5 finish would be pretty damn impressive though.  Lots of games left.  Who knows

What the heck happened to Bush and the running game against St. Louis? 1.4 yards per attempt???

The Rams have been fairly bad up front on D through 5 weeks, yet seemed to completely dominate the Dolphins vaunted O-line.

Okay, looking at it, I can probably answer myself... The Rams were the #1 defense against runs up the middle, which was the strongest point of attack for the Dolphins. It should have been possible to get something going behind Jake Long, but obviously didn't (although I don't remember many runs that weren't either up the middle or around the edges).

The Jets are up after the bye-week and the matchups look a lot better there... I guess I just expected too much against the Rams Sad

Because Long is clearly not what he used to be.  The Dolphins would be wise to either trade him or let him walk at season's end.  I wouldn't pay Pro Bowl money to a washed up left tackle whose best years are behind him, although it's really sad that this is only Long's fifth year in the league and he's already looking to be washed up.
