My favorite thing about NFL films was when they'd do the end of the year re-caps.  No matter what team, how bad they were, the voice -- the slow-motion...made everyone look amazing.

It would be like "Cleveland Browns: Building for the Future" and I'd be ready to throw out all my Dolphins stuff and go be a Browns fan.

The Sabol family and NFL films have been the storytellers of the league. The NFL wouldn't be as big as it is without them doing what they have done. As the league gained more fans and exploded in this country, the NFL through NFL Films taught those new fans about the history of the league.

MLB doesn't have what the NFL has. If you watch an old baseball game or highlight thing you see guys running super fast, swinging super fast, and no announcer or anyone putting anything into context what is going on and why this is important and why it was important at that moment in time. The NFL has captured every big (and little) moment from the 70's on in a way no other major sports league has.

Getting offended by something you see on the internet is like choosing to step in dog shite instead of walking around it.
